No such 'rapture' idea written in that Rev.3 Scripture anyway.
It's nothing more than spiritual blindness trying to wedge an idea of physical escape into that written Scripture. Obviously, being kept from the hour of temptation is not declaring anything about physical escape.
James 1:12
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.
(KJV)
Luke 8:13
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
(KJV)
1 Cor 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
(KJV)
Being kept from the 'hour' of temptation in Rev.3 is about being given the power and strength from Christ in order to bear it, and thus 'overcome' in Him, receiving His promise of a crown of life.
Rev 3:7-13
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith He That is holy, He That is true, He That hath the key of David, He That openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
That's our Lord Jesus. He holds the key of David, and He can open so that no one can shut, and He also can close so that no one can open. What's all that about?
It's not a literal key, like something of brass that opens some lock somewhere. Our Lord Jesus is giving an expression, and it's about a major mystery. If you know what that key of David is about, then it means He has opened the door to you, and you cannot be deceived or fooled (spiritually) by any man, nor angel, nor evil spirit, not even by the devil himself.
At the same time, with those who don't know, He can shut that door, and they cannot do anything to open it. He's going to relate this to understanding in His Word, for those who keep it, in the later verses.
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name.
There it is. Because they were given strength, and kept... His Word, not denying His Name, our Lord Jesus opened the door of His Truth to them, and no man can shut it. It's about becoming truly free, in the spiritual sense, being impossible to be deceived (like His elect of Matt.24:24). Thus this Message to the Church of Philadelphia is a Message to His elect servants. These are the five wise virgins here; having that spare vessel of the Oil which made them different. Keep His Word like He admonished them for, and He will open your spiritual eyes and spiritual ears, to His Truth, and thus His Truth will make you free (to your spirit).
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Why would our Lord Jesus bring up that "synagogue of Satan" at this point to them? Obviously, they had to know who He was speaking about. A mystery, it involves that "key of David". Christ's elect are especially persecuted by Satan's elect. Satan isn't concerned about those who can be deceived. He's concerned about Christ's elect which cannot... be deceived. They can do him the most spiritual damage. That's one of the reasons why Satan's servants are quick to show up in a place where Christ's Word is layed open for those wanting His Truth. Because of this persecution against Christ's elect, He's going to cause those of Satan's servants to bow at the feet of His elect to worship Christ Jesus in the future Milennium. Most of them won't like it when they will be forced to bow to Christ in front of His elect. But some of them may be turned, as written in Isaiah.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Because these kept His Word in patience, He promised He'd keep them from the 'hour'... of temptation. Notice how our Lord Jesus once again linked the idea of staying in His Word to that. What it's about is not being under deception during that 'hour' of temptation. His elect won't be tempted by the events of that one 'hour'.
What 'hour' is He talking about?
Rev 17:12-14
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
(KJV)
Rev 9:14-19
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
(KJV)
Rev 3:3
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
(KJV)
John 16:20-21
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
(KJV)
Luke 12:46
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
(KJV)
Luke 12:11-12
11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
(KJV)
Most probably don't realize how that 'hour' idea relates to the endtime tribulation timing; that's the period of trial that's to come upon all that dwell on the earth in the last days. Our Lord is pointing to a specific time, and a specific temptation with that 'hour'. The locust army are prepared just for that certain 'hour' to be released upon the earth. For the deceived, that 'hour' is to be the time of travai like a woman in labor pains, as a result of spiritual deception by what comes out of the 'mouths'... of those locusts. It's the eleventh hour of the laborers in the field. And the midnight hour in Matt.25 when the ten virgins got ready to meet the bridegroom ends that eleventh hour, an hour of testing. It's the 'hour' the beast king is to rule with his ten kings over all the earth per Rev.17.
It's the hour of temptation by the coming Antichrist/false messiah.
Rev.3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him My new name.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
(KJV)
Him that overcometh what? that 'hour of temptation', that Antichrist-false messiah (Matt.24:23-26; 2 Thess.2:3-4; Rev.13:11-17) If our Lord Jesus meant that as a physical escape to Heaven instead, then why in the world did He admonish us to 'overcome' that hour? Well, which ones do you want to be found among, these like the Church of Philadelphia which Christ put an open door in front of? or those who travail with child spiritually, that don't keep The Word of His patience, and instead allow themselves to be deceived by false ones coming that preach the "another Jesus"? (2 Cor.11).
