Oh joy! 15C today...and YES....I finally see some melting going on!
@pia when the snow is this thick...it takes more than a few degrees above zero to get it to melt. But, today...it is finally happening. But tonight it will go down below again...so for the people going to work tomorrow..it means icy roads.

It's in the mid 30s (F) with a light breeze coming out of the north. The clear skies and the absence of snow gives the impression of warmth, but once you step outside that impression is shattered. It's cold outside.

We have a wonderful plus 10 today...it's wonderful, feels like spring..
So whatever "north" you are getting your weather from , it not the north west..as we are toasty here.. Yay!!

30 (F) is -1 (C). Those are decent temps until the wind picks up.

See where it says cold air. I live right in the middle of that. It pretty much like that until the end March. That's why God gave us fire.

It was sunny and 63 F in Central Colorado, USA today.

It was a hot 36 degrees today, ah well cooler here at home, it's about to get pretty stormy next few days though, possibly 150mm+ could fall from Friday to Sunday, and up to 300mm in the north east of the state. Ah well it can't flood here, I'm in the ranges.

Unseasonably warm here also. Temps are reaching the 60s (F) Teens (C)

Every day of warmth means 1 less day of winter..........................hopefully.

Totally agree, every week of mild weather is one less week of deep winter.

It's been so lovely...we enjoyed the break...but getting colder now...with the promise of snow.

Highs have been in the 40s (F) 4 - 7 (C) all week. That's supposed to change this coming week with highs around 20 (F) -6 (C). Can't complain. Winter was shortened by a month so far this season.

I'm happy...

The temperature dropped from 50 degrees (F) 10(C) to 20 degrees (F) -7(C) in less than 6 hours and has remained there for the last 2 days. I'm holding onto hope that this is just a fluke and that the temps will make a comeback. It's happened in the past so there's still a chance.

Regardless of the outcome....

Heavy rain, really loud heart shaking massive cracks of thunder that would make anyone jump hahah, plenty of lightning and a few branches cracking.

Ours is "not too bad", nasty underfoot, very icy and dangerous...still snow coming down...'twil be a white Christmas for sure.

Yep....about a foot of fresh snow now...looks pretty, just like a Christmas Card.
It's not too cold either...so that's still good.
Happy Christmas everyone...drive safe...don't eat too much...if that is at all possible!!
I've already have started to celebrate by eating the fattening 'naughty stuff...'

We have our 3rd. snow fall ............ about six inc. each time.

And the night time temps. are now - ----- temps. -7 -9 ...... and day time single 8........or 8 .......

This winter is colder for a start......... Hope it will at least last short time.............. !

Friends on the east coast? Brrrrr...lived there...I know!

Well ,...here in Western Canada it is minus 22 degs with more snow!
It has been in the down in the sub-twenties all over the holidays...bitter cold wind. Neither fit for mice or men.
I think the order of the day will be turkey soup and dumplings. With some good old movie to follow.
