Yeah that's what I heard that alcohol makes it too intense. We have cannabis receptors? I never learned that in nursing school.

Indica for sleep and relaxation and pain, Sativa for a more awake experience. Now a day's there is mostly a hybrid but, still the full strains too.

Weed makes you so calm & mellow and things seem much more pleasant sometimes even funny very funny. That was what his joke about the laughing comment was.
Maybe you should try it again with the correct kind. I'm an severe insomniac myself been since I can remember. Just started taking herbs lemon balm with passionflower , it makes me relaxed now I yawn until bedtime.
Devin I'm sorry about your mental status. I don't know if I posted to this forum how my family ,my husband about 2 yrs after we married he gave into his disease. Paranoid schitz with severe bi-polar, my son was also as well as his Son is.
In April this year I became so overwhelmed by my baby brother passing at 58 in Dec.21 that I lost it.....totally. Went to psyche unit @ hospital, self committed ,they treated me a week gave me take home psychotropic drugs.
You can not give just anyone these meds. Well in July this year I broke with reality. Thought there were goth teens in my home harassing me. Was in another dimension of place sometimes , not sure about time and had a friend who became invisible who was performing invisible brain surgery on me looking for the personal " God particle". It almost got me put in an instution. I even called the police to search the house. My daughter whom I live with was beside herself. I had both visual & audio hallunications.
Most horrible illness I've ever had, it stopped when I STOPPED taking the meds & canceled my shrink.

It gave me MORE of an understanding spirit towards ppl who suffer, and those who suffer mental issues & self medicate with street drugs.
Wow. I wasn't aware the meds would cause hallucinations. Sorry to hear about the problems you've had with mental illness. I was put on one med that made me have really aggressive impulses. My doctor said it was my disease, but I demanded to come off the meds and be put on something else. They have slowly diminished over time since I've been off the old meds.
I have similar hallucinations to the ones you described when I don't take my meds. The meds have pretty much cured my illness with the exception that I have break thru episodes of severe hallucinations about 10 days per month. But I'm so normal the other days that it makes it easy to distinguish, so I just take a as needed med and then sleep it off. It passes after several hours usually.
These dizzy hallucination with fatigues spells that I described that break thru my meds may be related to another condition. My neurologist thinks they may be some form of migrainous condition.
Yes I'm glad you're OK now. People just don't understand what mentally ill people go thru and they can be kind of harsh. My neighbor for isntance thinks my brother is a dead beat that doesn't want to work because he's lazy. He has mental retardation and has problems. Sad really. I think if the disease hit my neighbor somehow he would totally understand. But most people that have no problems can't comprehend.

My son had anger issues with his bi- polar same with his Son.
It hurt horribly when my son passed but I've accepted God knows best.
He took all kind of street drugs to stop the voices and for severe pain. The Drs get you hooked on pain meds here then cut you off.
He was saved and doing great for 7 years. Always studying the word & helping others addicts. Then his wife left him right after Christmas in '13. He passed in Nov of '14.Who knows what his future had coming.
We are not suppose to pass before our children. Right now my grandson has 17 more days in rehab. He's been there a long time. I had to do " tough love" bc I was enabling him.
Genetics are rough. His dad proceeded him in Oct '14 so we were hit hard then another baby brother by 16 yrs of myself passed the following March '15 just b4 he turned 42, my son was 36.

No I think @Lambano is an engineer. My profession was Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Programming for CAD. I worked with engineers for a long time.
Thanks, I'll pray for you too. That must be hard losing so many of your family. My mother passed last year and that has been tuf. My half brother passed away for 15 minutes but was brought back to life. It was a miracle. And it was at the same time my mother passed away. When it rains it pours.
I had a bad surgery and they put me on pain meds for several months which then caused migraines which then they kept me on pain meds for a few years. The migraines were constant every day and disabling. I lost everything because of it. I eventually got off the pain meds but never fully recovered. The pain meds damaged my brain a little and caused my schizophrenia to worsen. Pain meds are a terrible curse. The withdrawals is what I remember the most. They were horrible. They had put me on Suboxone at the end there and the withdrawals weren't as bad is oxy but lasted 3 months. I'm happy that I made it thru. Now I get to enjoy sobriety.

There are just too many testimonies out there that can't be denied.
Everyone has been told that marijuana is the worst drug in the world for how many years. that most people just believe such nonsense.
If anyone knew how many medical drugs are made up of, most would be clueless not to mention ignorance is bliss, but if dope is in 1% of such then many would become hysterical, oh no I is going to become a addict ! it's Marijuana ! Oh no ! I am going to be hooked ?
But the fact is that one who takes up smoking everyday fags you buy at the shop is 100 if not 1000 times more addictive than marijuana. a mate who smoked dope from 1984 to 2019 like everyday first thing getting out of bed and on the hour pulling a cone until he went to bed that I seen and he smoked fags as well from 1981 and gave the dope up easy as but he said giving up the fags were a real hell of a battle that he is still dealing with.
He was a alcoholic for years drinking like a fish everyday and he gave that up much easy than the fags.
He got a big scare when his baby sister 10 years his younger died of a heart attack in his arms and then he had a heart attack down the track and had to give up the dope and smoking fags.
I went to school with him from grade 3 on and Church bible study and all, but he just took up smoking fags because he was not allowed to his dad would not stand for it ! so he hid everything he did from his dad out of fear. but I could talk about anything with my dad, I did not have to hide anything. but I never smoked fags and only did the dope at times as did most people and then I was just not involved in any such, not did I look for such. I bought dope 2 times in my life. and if I was to smoke Marijuana again it would only be one type, Purple Heads ! that's class and the rest is rubbish ! That mate grew that stuff one year. you do not cough and it was not about getting plastered but having a good time and a good laugh.
The Medical dope has nothing to do with getting a good time or laugh out of such at all. that's what most people fear that they may have a good time ! can't have that now can we, so no wonder so many people are on medicated uppers etc from the doctor, that is totally stupid way to live. I think they are too up themselves. to let their hair down ?
I met many people who I would never of talked to before I took the dope and they were good people mainly lefty's. I grew up in a hard right family so I learned to appreciate the left much more so. something I am thankful for in growing as a person.
But a warning the Dope that people smoke is nowadays is something I would never smoke, as it is very bad and if it's grown under lights, never smoke such ever and do not take that new chemical dope at all ever, such is stupid to take and nothing is good about taking such at all. only idiots do such as chemical so called Dope as such can fry your brains.
Grown under lights destroys the DNA of the plant as such creates a chemical imbalances, so one could become schizo.
My mum is going onto the medical dope soon as she take so many prescribed drugs it's insane and her doctor said when it comes about most of all the drugs she is on will go ! as this new type of medical dope stuff is that good.

Probably drops...in my tea or something. Or they have edible gummies. I just don't know for sure what I will do if I do give it a try.

...and let's not forget how many lawsuits there have been because of a drug and how much damage to the body. Medicine is a practice...and they will always be practicing on us.

The Govy has waved back and forth, agreeing, limiting, outlawing, taxing... and again on the rise is allowing AND TAXING.
Pretty much seems, if it BREATHES, if it MOVES, the Govy is in the Game to TAX IT...
Funny how the US Constitution gives them no such power over Plants.

Olivia Newton John passed away recently. She had battled breast cancer on and off for 30 years.
Three years ago it returned and then metastasized all throughout her body. After initially presenting in her back.
Her dear friend Jane Seymour said she had been in excruciating pain but never felt sorry for herself.
Part of her pain management regime at home was the medical marijuana her husband cultivated for her.
I've known people who suffer cancer. If marijuana helps them, thank God.
