I would say that your quote from Ignatius of Antioch contradicts what Jesus said in Matthew 18:20. Do you not see how Ignatius twisted the words of Jesus Christ??

ALL of the works we do in Christ are from God (Eph. 2:10). That's why we can't take any credit for them.

Your taking credit for saving yourself by your works, just like Paul said, not of works lest anyone should boast just two verses earlier, and in Romans 4 where he said if Paul was found by works he has something to boast.
