Father, thank you for Willie, for his love for you and the wonderful contribution he makes to this forum. Please let him not be gone for long, we will miss him. And Father, you know how difficult this must be for Mrs Willie, so I ask your blessing to be upon her also. Grant her strength and a sense of your presence throughout this trial. In Jesus name, Amen.

as well as you, and your family, and I hope your father is ok, and return home soon. I will keep you and your family in prayer also.

be blessed, and stay strong.

Sadly my Father passed away (alone) two weeks later. I did not want to say this afraid Willies wife would see, But it seems they think she will not look in here.

This is a hard time for this all.. When you have been through it it hits you hard when you see others who have to go through it..

I'm so sorry to hear about your father! I pray that your family will get past the grief of this needless separation.

Thank you.. My sister and brother need all the prayers.. They are really struggling.. They depended on him to much, and now are left in a way they may not be able to make it. I tried to warn Dad and them, But it did not seem to register.

I don't think anyone finds illness desirable but death, in particular that of a believer is more a thing to be celebrated than mourned. For the person involved it is a release....an end of suffering. For them the next conscious moment will be that of a resurrected immortal body. What greater joy can be hoped for?......or do we grieve and mourn as unbelievers do who have no hope?

To live in this consciousness shifts the view. We who are alive and remain struggle with our infirmities and temptations....we witness the suffering of those about us whereas those who have died in Jesus await the greatest of all promises while resting unperturbed.

Faith is grasping this and not letting the chaos of unbelief darken the horizon.

I looked but I can't see that Willie's wife has posted this here on this forum.
So I am doing it , just in case she doesn't.

Hello, this is Willie-T's wife, Sue. He asked me to post this to let you know he won't be on for a while. We would appreciate your prayers on his behalf. I won't be making replies or updates to this post unless there is a significant change. Thank you for your understanding.

Willie-T is currently in ICU. He went by ambulance Saturday night to the hospital after having a sudden onset VIOLENT, VIOLENT headache. His speech became slurred and he was very weak and dizzy. Turns out he has two brain bleeds, one subdural hematoma and one subarachnoid. More scans and tests are ongoing to determine the cause/source of the bleeds. This may require surgery, but may resolve on its own.

The nurse let me talk with him this morning. He is stable and coherent but speech is quite slurred and he still has pain in the back of his head. The hospital has a no visitor policy due to covid-19 precautions so I am not allowed to go see him. I am getting phone updates from ICU. This is "not his first rodeo" since he had a subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2012. My thought is that he will be in the hospital for a while, probably followed by rehab, although this has not yet been discussed by the medical staff.

Family and friends around the U.S are lifting Willie-T up in prayer. It would be a blessing to have your prayers added to theirs. Many thanks from both of us.

Prayers going his way....

Wow. I though a person had to have a BRAIN to have a BRAIN HEMORRHAGE. -- Yeah, I'm just kidding, and pray the best for Willie T. and his family.

We all need each other,
Bobby Jo

It feels as if we are all waiting around for an outcome but keep up the faith folks, he'll come through it! He's not going home until he's done everything God had assigned him to do....God's not finished with him yet.

Thanks for the encouragement @Angelina , I can't think of him not here with us anymore, I really miss his presence here. The jerk has me crying over him!
