The news media constantly wants us to believe that all three of these religions worship the same God.

Christianity, Judaism and Islam? So what do you believe?

Jesus said "No one will see the Father but through me."

Jews, Muslims and some people that call themselves Christians don't believe that.

According to the Gospel, they are incorrect.

Paul told the Greeks that their worship of the UNKNOWN God was actually directed towards the One True God; I have no doubt that Jews and Muslims are worshiping the same God as we are. I am not sure why some people find this idea so threatening.

Peace

Do you believe that we are worshipping the same god as the Buddhists as well?

Paul wouldn't ahve known so much about Bhuddism, unless he met someone from Alexandria who told him about it. There was a Bhuddist community in Alexandria in the 1st century BTW.

Besides which the Bhuddist don't worship any God at all. Bhudda was more like aprophet, he was a man who lived on earth a couple of centuries before Christ and he showed people that they could achieve enlightenment through meditation, fasting and good works, but there are no gods in Bhuddism.

Zaroastrians worship the same God as we do. The Jews elarn't a lot from them while they were in Persia.

I've been discussing things with Muslims for a few years now,
and when I compare Allah in the Quran with God in the Bible
I am certain that Allah is NOT the Judeo-Christian God.

Actually, I am convinced that Satan was (or sent) Lucifer to deceive Mohammed.

News Flash! ...
Satan is about a million times more clever than you and I, especially about how to deceive people.

Duping humanity is about as challenging as running for dictator in Iran. If Satan is really that smart - where is the challenge? Just wondering.....

Wow John Zain. I can't believe you came out and said it. Where I live Islam is so powerful that no-one dare say anthing like that, but as far as I know they think they worship the same God as us, though their view of him is soemwhate distored. I would not rule out the idea that Mohammed was decieved, but I'd be wary of sayingmore than that.

I've put this on several Muslim websites in the "Inter-faith" sub-forums,
and it has received many hundreds of replies.

For me, the source of Quran is in doubt

The Bible explained that Satan (Lucifer) used to be God's #1 arch-angel
... before his pride caused him to rebel against God,
and he deceived 1/3 of God's angels into following him.
This is what the war in Heaven was all about.
So, it's easy to accept what the Bible explains in MANY verses:

Satan is a super-intelligent liar and deceiver!

The Bible warned that “Satan transforms himself into an angel of light”.
It warned against “an angel from heaven” who preaches another gospel.
It gave instructions on how to TEST “angels” to see if they are from God or from Satan!
It also gave a lot of WARNINGS about false prophets, false teachers, false gospels, etc.
Guess what, folks? God intended for EVERYONE to take all of these warnings seriously!

600 years later … an “angel” who called itself “Gabriel” appeared to Mohammed.
It was NOT tested at all for any kind of authenticity!
Much of what this “angel” said is opposed to what the Bible says.

Comparing God of the Bible with Allah of the Qur'an, they're NOT the same.
An obvious conclusion would be: this false “angel” deceived Mohammed!
This would have been extremely easy to do ... because ...
Historically, man has always been a spiritual moron.
Another “angel” called "Moroni" deceived Joseph Smith resulting in Mormonism.
How many false “angels” and false prophets shall we accept as being from God?

Side note: Since Satan is such an incredible liar and deceiver,
he surely would have been clever enough to mix truth with lies!
If he was the source of the Qur’an, you can bet that he did this.

The biggest problem with Muslims isn't that they believe lies and deciet, it is that they are probably the hardest people to convert to Chrisitianity becuase of the hostility they have toards ourreligiona nd the Trinity.

What are the best verses are arguments to help convert Muslims.

First, let me say that I believe the Trinity is NOT in the basic gospel message.
I believe it is a later revelation. And many "Christians" don't believe it.

I give them 80+ verses which show, reveal, teach, etc. that ...
Jesus is God, is equal to the Father, is the Creator, is the Sustainer now,
is the Giver of eternal life, etc.

OK! Not allChristians are Trinitarians, I'm aware of that, but I'm not sure what you mean about it being a later revelation since there are references to the Trinity in Genesis nd tJesus himself said "before Abraham was I was."

Let's look at evangelisation of Muslims, there are groups in my area that do go out and preach to Muslims, though it is dangerouse. A good way to get martyred I reckon but what are the verses that Chritians can sue to greatest effect. Converting Muslims is dangerouse but it should still be done. I've never met a Muslim convert , though I've heard their testimonies on Christian television and I ocne saw some in my local Cathedral.

Sorry, but the foundation of Christianity....the dividing line between Christianity and nonChristian beliefs is the Trinity. To believe otherwise is to accept polytheism or that only one of the personages is God.

Actually, Muslims who convert to Christianity become persecuted by their own family members to the point where they even fear for their lives.

Jehovah Witnesses who leave for another religion are
totally banished from their JW families and JW friends.

I must admit that I'm still baffled by this.
Where do the "Christians" stand who can only say,
"I believe that Jesus is the Son of God"?
I have known several personally.

In the NT, the Jews said: Son of God = Messiah = Christ.
And I believe they equated this with God Himself.

You quoted a very popular proof verse: (John 8:58),
but I say: angels were also before Abraham.
A much better one is:
"If you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins." (John 8:24).

God said His name "forever" is "I AM" (Exodus 3:14-15).

Christians are supposed to grow spiritually, and part of this is
by getting deeper "revelations" about what the Word is saying.

There are hundreds (thousands?) of testimonies of Muslims who have found Jesus.
Just do some googling.
