Sort of. You may have or are walking down a similar path as me. I love genuine and down-to-earth people who can speak their mind, the truth of God at any time, whether it's proper or not to do so in even in a public setting that would embarrass the weak in spirit..

Friend, there is no short and easy path to genuine fruit. When I was a young believer was warned not to pray for brokenness but I ignored the advice. Talk about being outside the camp...

However after waiting 40 years I now have the permission to speak, and was led back into a MS church.
Yes, although most if not all MS churches retard my growth, even now in my later years.
About eight years ago I remember well an instant I caused with just one individual in a public swimming pool. She was a retired pastor's wife. I naturally spoke to someone and then a few more in the pool about salvation in Christ as the audience were were mostly liberal reformed Jews.
Well this lady, soon arrived at my feet, and attempted to quell my speech and advised me to keep his talk within the church. The irony in that and what she believes and in spirit spoke volumes to me. I scolded her and told her Christ will get more people from outside the church that inside it, and left her wondering.

I see you have lead a Bible Study group on this site as I've read many posts of others already. Genuine leadership in the truth as you apparently are doing and have demonstrated, I reckon for years now, is commendable. We have more in common than you might think Mr. Emerson, or can I say Carl. And now as a friend who strongly seems to care about others in the process. Your heart is in the right place Sir.

You have gotta laugh... A Pastor from Africa suggested I start a bible study - I explored the possibility just incase it was a God idea. Bingo the support was there, and the 'Pastor' was never seen or heard of again.

Understood - I have to say however that I am a bullet Christian and not a shotgun Christian. I get led to situations and circumstances in need of a Word or a healing or a deliverance.
Adam & Eve were the first ones to ignore the Apple terms and conditions.
Holy secret agent on surgical covert missions usually as solo acts for God. So then you won't be dropping gospel leaflets at low levels from planes with me anytime soon then....

Right - not my calling...
I would however like to teach what I call guerrilla evangelism if folks were interested.

It's great to know one's calling in life, so this way one does not have to idle around and wonder. We can then 'crack on' as they say, for the LORD, with composure and without fracturing our sense of real purpose.
