Reminds me of a mixed metaphor. (or worse)

You are combining scriptures that don't go together,
and adding questionable interpretation in
an attempt to make a pseudo-biblical claim.

Regurgitating some evangelical apologetics.
Let's think through this, okay?

From pointless discipline, yes. I don't think He behaves like an abusive father.
Correction, restoration and mercy.

James 2:13 NIV
... Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Sounds like BAD parenting. Do you beleive God is subhuman?

No, That wouldn't be just at all.
Unless YOUR view of God is one who created a pile of maggots to throw on the campfire.
But saved a few to keep as pets, claiming they were made in his image. - LOL

If God did that to us, would that seem perfectly just to you?
Why do I even ask? That is what you are saying in essence, right?
You have clearly never read John 3 : 16- 18.

Did you run away in fear? Or were you mortified?
I wouldn't get far.

Lev 10:1-3 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them. (2) So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. (3) And Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the LORD spoke, saying: 'By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.' " So Aaron held his peace.

Act 5:3-6 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? (4) While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God." (5) Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. (6) And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.

Heb 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. (29) For our God is a consuming fire.

That would be mortified, I suppose. (scared to death)
So, you see God as a cosmic tyrant, or what?

Does he incinerate everything that gets in his way?
Maybe we should wear oven mitts when we read the Bible?
Oven mitts and a welding mask. - LOL

Not what I see at all. But you might be right.
Best to just fly under the radar? (for fear)
