If one thinks that a physical circumcision makes them right with God becoming a Jew, they deceive themselves and are NOW required to keep ALL the or WHOLE law not just the 10 which the world is founded on. They have put themselves back into bondage to all 613 laws that no man could keep and will be destroyed come judgment day(GWTJ) and Christ is now no good to them for they just sold their selves into slavery to them.
Gal 5:1-4
5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
KJV

No man in his own strength could or can obey God's 10 commandments for we are all of an unclean spirit before Christ. So due to disobedience, they racked up laws upon laws for transgressing the 10 written in the Stone which reached to 613 total. Christ released us from all the added laws to the 10 originals, nailing them to the cross and was resurrected in the same glory he had with the Father. His work on the cross not only erased our PAST sins, but foiled the devils works by making it possible for us to receive God's Spirit, bringing us reunited with God so that we can give Him our free will to work within us to write His laws upon our hearts to be able to DO THEM, not just read them or hear them. Don't use this freedom to entertain sin, for we are under sowing and reaping and our heaven will be exactly what we have PLANTED in this life.
God is using His Word to mold and shape our , FRAIL AND COMPLIANT clay bodies into stone pots, by our VESSELS being filled with living water, by the Spirit of Joy being the BEST WINE for the Wedding on the 3rd Day(3rd earth's age)saved till last to be SERVED(instead of serving) as son's no longer servants but kings and priests of God who inherit the Bride.

Psalm 119:45 And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts.

Those that seek God's commandments shall walk at liberty. We are freed from sin. And as you stated, we should do the law, and not only hear and read the law (paraphrasing your words). Is it any wonder this law (the 10 Commandments) are called the law of liberty?

James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The law of liberty is also called perfect.

Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

These precepts are perfect, converting the soul. That is why James says "...whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein...a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." Those who obey God's 10 Commandments shall be blessed and converted. Now, to anyone who thinks they can keep 9 commandments, but freely transgress one of them, it is written:

James 2:10-12 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

We shall be judged by the law of liberty, the perfect law. So teach the law, and do the law, for it is also written:

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Greetings Raeneske,
The law of liberty being the 10 commandments in The Stone which is The Christ and being immovable, when obeyed keeps us free from the judgment for sin. For those who abide in the Word and the Word in them shall not need another law added to them for they will be walking in LOVE being circumcised in heart being a Doer of the law and as we agree, not just a hearer only, are not under law. For Obedience out of LOVE is Freedom!
Rom 13:8-10
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
KJV

The law of liberty is love. James used this term in rebuking his readers for their poor display of love towards others. As for the rest of your post, you are correct in your observation that love is the fulfillment of the law.
However, one thing that I think needs pointing out is that we are not justified for life by the keeping of the law. And this includes any law. In Gal.3:21, we read that.... "if there had been A LAW GIVEN which could have given life, then truly righteousness would have been by the law."
The idea that the big ten has remained intact in the new covenant can be a deceiving suggestion...if it implies that keeping these will bring life. In fact I will quote from further on in Galatians just to bring this point to light.
In 4:22, Paul mentions the two sons of Abraham; one by the free woman and one by the bondwoman. He goes on to say that one was by the flesh and the other by the promise. The point being that one represents man's accomplishment through his own ability and effort and the other represents what God supplies through a promise.
But it gets very clear from this point. Here is more from that context: vs.24 " Which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar. Now I ask you, what was given on Mount Sinai? The ten commandments.

So in your op, where you talk about circumcision in that day meant they were debtors to keep the whole law, how is it that you conclude that this does not include that which came down from Mount Sinai? It does not always profit to quote from a context without regarding all of the context.

In fact, after mentioning that we are children of the promise (vs.28), being children of the free woman (vs.31), Paul goes on in Gal.5:1 to say this: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has set you free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage" And just in case it needs pointing out again, the bondage he is referring to is given birth at Mount Sinai.

Keeping the law is not the problem Loving others is not bad. Refraining from stealing, lying, murder, adultery, etc. is not a bad thing, but rather important in every sense of the word. However, we are not talking about these being bad. I and others have insisted that the bible is telling us that these things do not bring us everlasting life. They bring us peace with each other in this life and they bring us rewards on the judgement seat of Christ. But if the motive for these is to be justified for life with God, then they become a denial and are in opposition to the fact that life is a free gift of grace that comes through faith in the work and sacrifice of Jesus. Life comes by way of a promise, not by keeping a moral law.

Paul told the Philippians that he was blameless concerning the righteousness found in the law (3:6). He was telling them that if anyone could have confidence in the flesh, it was he. But he gladly counted all this accomplishment for loss (vs.7), counting them as rubbish (dung). ...vs.9..." and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith".

Which law? A simple deduction. Which law determines righteousness? And I remind you of my first quote, that there is no law given that can bring life or righteousness. NO LAW.. NONE. These are gifts, as the 5th chapter of Romans informs us in several verses. Gifts given by faith, as Rom. 5:1 concludes from the prior chapters in context.
Not to get long winded ( a little late for that).. but here is Rom. 3:22-24 (NKJ).
"even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,"

I hope and pray this has blessed you.
