But sadly too many stubbornly refuse to die that they might live.
die to the curse, live for the blessing.

But sadly too many stubbornly refuse to die that they might live.
Gotta question for you, when you were won over to Christ, was it because you wanted to dodge going to hell, or did you cry out to Him from hell?you hAVE no idea over 2 years
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. (Rev 16:9)
I believe so many have been presented a choice heaven/hell.
True. More like life or death.I believe so many have been presented a choice heaven/hell.
This is not the God I’ve come to know.
Yep most base their salvation on a choice they made seeking to save their life.True. More like life or death.
Based on the few conversations we’ve had I’d say it was from hell you cried out sir.True. More like life or death.
But that time was only till His Holy Spirit was given it was from than that,"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Lol. That's a fairly blunt assertion to be making after just a few conversations.Based on the few conversations we’ve had I’d say it was from hell you cried out sir.
Maybe I’ll mellow out in my old age.Lol. That's a fairly blunt assertion to be making after just a few conversations.
How long do we have to wait...ing on himMaybe I’ll mellow out in my old age.

The very thing VIJ and I were just discussing, what of loving God just because He loves us.The danger in this is that they then here , by their choice , a saviour of themselves.
For many many years now, when I talk to someone in a mall or in a restaurant , about the Father...I revers it to how we used to do it back in the beginning...what I say now is...after the hello's and light chatter about the weather.... " Are you aware just how much God loves you?" Obviously they are at first taken back...then I go on to tell them of God sending His son to die for them...etc etc...then if they get saved it is by being aware of God love firstly...not the threat of hell fire...
The Holy Spirit is the one who does the work of convicting them on how to live and how to turn from the old life ...where as I , like many others, were told - " Now you are a Christian , you must do this and you must do that, and you can't do such and such any more"
As Paul says - " It is the goodness of God which leads to salvation "
"We love Him, because He first loved us. "
It's easy to fall in love with someone when we see just how much they loved us, and what they did to win us.
We wonder why the churches on the corners are shrinking, and members drift from church to church . What draw is there when to reach new christians a person is told..." I have a choice for you..pick one..Heaven or Hell, your choice ?"

Mercy is an important theme; the Epistle to Titus takes up the theme...
That speaks of the New Heavens and New Earth (also the desolate heart, but I was speaking about this earth, not the individual, in context), not this present one, neither during the 1,000 years:Well, that is the bad news. Here is the good news...that was Before Christ, the repairer, the restorer ... All the above passages you gave of the destruction speaks of vanity (futility/emptiness) and what it does, all broken down ...BUT He came to deliver from the bondage of corruption and vanity(futility)..there is fruit of the Spirit of God and restoration and Hope. Isaiah 58:12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
1 Corinthians 3:9-10 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. [10] According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
You left out (Isaiah 35:1-10) The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. [2] It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing:...
... Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. [5] Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. [6] Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. [7] And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: ....
Good way of putting it, really...die to the curse, live for the blessing.
Behold all things are new; for those who are in ChristThat speaks of the New Heavens and New Earth (also the desolate heart, but I was speaking about this earth, not the individual, in context), not this present one, neither during the 1,000 years:
so, 'No.', I didn't 'leave out' Isaiah 35:1-10. The context is New Heavens and New Earth, and not the 1,000 years as spoken of, to which I responded.
You can see that here:
