I think the U.S. is currently in a downward spiral, morally and spiritually. But there are still a lot of Christians here. If we compare the U.S. to ancient Israel we might be at a late stage in our history as a nation of God, with God still extending some hope for limited national redemption.

I don't personally see the U.S. destroyed or diminished until Armageddon. Ancient Israel was whittled down little by little in her apostasy. The U.S. is being depreciated in the same way, little by little, as our debt increases, natural disasters take place, social division intensifies, etc. etc.

But I think the U.S. is one of those nations God has raised up with an endtimes purpose. What that purpose specifically is I'm not sure? We've played a role in defending the independence of other countries, and defending countries that cannot defend themselves alone, such as Israel. But I find that we are increasingly joining the European mindset that no longer defends the minority unless it conforms with the group think of secular humanism.

We're in a religious apostasy, and when judgment comes I can only guess. It is already here in smaller ways, and will undoubtedly continue until full scale disaster falls.

But that may be at Armageddon. I don't go for popular prophecies unless I see real evidence that they are from God.

I will say this--purely speculative. I see the 4th Beast of Dan 7 as the Roman Empire, followed by its continuing form as European Civilization. Rome was and remains an imperialistic entity, but Dan 7 describes it as divided into 10 nations. The US has played the role of preserving the independence of nations, as opposed to their being swallowed up by any empire.

I think that may be one of the roles the US is playing in the endtimes, even as the 10 nations ultimately end up back as an empire. Accordingly, the US seems to be both preserving the independence of nations like the UK per Trump and supporting European Union, per Biden and Democrat policy.

Well there is a maybe possibility that America is alluded to in the Bible. If that is the case, we are destroyed by God.

But otherwise we shall simply become another gentile nation that will succumb to teh wiles of the Antichrist and yield to him.

I don't believe nations disappear simply because they are not directly mentioned in Bible Prophecy. Bible Prophecy was written a long time ago, before there ever was a nation encompassing N. America. Now there are at least 3, not to mention there were Indian nations before the Europeans started development here.

Bible Prophecy begins with Israel, which is obviously in the time frame in which the Bible was written. And then it sort of exports the job of repeating the same process in many nations of the world, in particular Europe, where Rome is located.

European Civilization actually extends as far as Russia in Asia, and the Americas in the West. Every time the Bible predicts the word of God reaching out to the extreme parts of the earth, or to East and West, we know that all nations, including the US, are included.

Silence about all these nations does not mean they all perish, nor that Bible-mentioned nations remain. It doesn't even indicate that some of these unmentioned nations will not play a prominent role in the Last Days. But the general blueprint does give us hints with respect to all the nations that represent European Civilization, including the US, and Asian countries representing nations who may challenge Europe at Armageddon.

I see no biblical basis for making these declarations? Isa 10.5-6 has to do with ancient Assyria, which today is part of Iraq. Iraq will never destroy the US AFAIK. The EU is not Iraq, and I doubt it will destroy the U.S., who is its strong ally.

Its not prophesied in a way you say, it is prophesied, but in a very quaint sort of way. When the bible in Rev. 8 says that an Asteroid will hit (Mountain crashes into a sea) in the sea, and that 1/3 of the world will burn, the Pacific Ocean makes up 1/3 of the worlds water, and the New World or North and South America have 1/3 of the land mass on the earth, so the 1/3 is us indeed, God is not going to burn the old world because Jesus is going to rule from Jerusalem for 1000 years.

So, we are there, if you know what to look for, most can't dig that out tbh. But all that comes in the middle of the 70th week. After the Pre Trib Rapture of the Gentile (with some Jews) Church.

Basically, what most don't get is God helps make the Anti-Christs path straight, God wipes out Russia, Iran and Turkey's Armies. I have read that interpretation into the Bible before. Almost exactly as you worded it. But have since changed my mind about it. But that would be amazing if that was the correct interpretation. I have a pretty open mind about revelation and don’t think we have it figured out. I think we will watch it unfold before our eyes!
