Adam is the image of God, but so is the Messiah, but what is the difference?
I have an assumption that the image of God regarding Adam refers to the outward appearance, for God is not formless but has a heavenly body which is similar to the earthly body.
But the image of God regarding the Messiah refers to the personality.
What do you say?

When tempted with sin, Adam gave into Satan, while Jesus did not. Therefore, Adam lost the image of God, while Jesus retained it.
