I am totally against the union of any church with the state, Protestant or Catholic.
The very fact that you posted the above, and that you would agree with it, informs us all that you are the scariest individual on this forum. It is precisely persons such as yourself who found their greatest happiness in watching soldiery ripping open the wombs of mother's with their swords and bouncing those babies upon their spear tips simply because they were, in the eyes of the Pope and his agents, 'heretics'.
Jesus didn't die in order for you to remove free will and worship according to conscience from the mind of others.
Did anyone else here understand the depth of depravity theefaith is discussing and advocating here? Do you still believe Catholicism had changed from the dark ages? Do you think the Vatican opposed the constitution of the US because she loves liberty of conscience?
Negative. The man you hold to be the first pope says this, ". . . it is necessary that of the men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us— beginning with the baptism of John until the day that He was taken up from us—one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” No one today can make that claim.
No such thing as catechumens.

When @theefaith can answer the question, why did God not destroy Lucifer the moment he rebelled in heaven?, Then he will understand why the church, all tyrannical churches using coercion to enforce submission, are demonstrating the character of the dragon.
Don't be obtuse Little Birdy. Of course it's impossible. Again, your argument is not based on reason or logic. You hold a "religious" belief, which is an affirmation with no proof. You believe it, not because it is true or real, but simply because affirming it marks you as a catholic in good standing.if it’s not possible then it’s not required.
Just because it's in the dictionary doesn't make it true. Try getting your theology from the Bible.look it up in the dictionary or are you a spiritual Neanderthal???

Negative. Jesus Christ didn't give the responsibility to an organization or an institution. Individual people are called and sent to preach the gospel. And everything they say can be checked against the scriptures. Don't take away the scriptures Little Birdy. No
Truth is revealed by God thru Christ Jn 1:17 taught by his church Matt 28:18 without the possibility of error jn 16:13

I notice you didn't answer the question I posed. Not so but the authoritative character of the kingdom of God!
the church the new covenant kingdom has a duty to safeguard the sacred deposit of truth Jude 1:3 from all error and thereby the faithful from all harm to their salvation!
mission of the church:
The salvation of souls for the glory of God!
the state has authority from God to execute justice!
Romans 13:4
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword invain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Exactly what did these men teach?
Hus, Wycliffe, albagensians, Pray tell us what good Christians they were
According to your very own quote, the state is the minister of God. When did the church take over that responsibility from God and the state become the minister of the church? Not so but the authoritative character of the kingdom of God!

Such apostles are no longer alive. We have their teachings in the scriptures.only the apostles have authority from Christ to both teach without error and make apostles until Christ returns Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-23 and to baptize Matt 28:19 and forgive sins

24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
