Is it possible that an aborted soul is born again - twinc
I believe they are in heaven with Jesus.
Revelation Chapter 7 and 14 the 144,000 (probably symbolic number with another meaning) were
  • sacrificed
  • the first fruits unto God and Jesus
  • were not married
  • spoke no deceit
  • faultless
  • from the 12 tribes of Israel
Seems these were the children Herod killed in retaliation of Jesus escaping. Matthew 2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. [sealed by God]
Revelation 14:4 ... These are they which follow the Lamb where ever he goes ...

These babies had no choice and neither do aborted babies.

That's not an answer to my question.
I asked: What do you think a Just God would do in regards to aborted babies.

And I have already given my answer,

Quote from post #65

“Obviously an aborted fetus could not fully consecrate itself to the Lord, therefore could not be born again to a spirit nature, however it nevertheless still falls under the ransom sacrifice and as such this yet to be individual begotten through father Adam’s linage has been purchased with the precious blood of Christ, and therefore will experience a resurrection by judgement.”

Quote from post # 67

“Do not be dishearten, all of these little souls will be well taken care of in the earthly phase of the kingdom, we have the Lord's assurance on the matter.”

Quote from post # 70

“No one escapes the penalty, all fall short of the Glory of God, which is Holiness, perfection. All were lost in Adam, but even so all are redeemed in Christ.”

In this last we elaborated on our position based upon the testimony of the scriptures.

Well, considering the fact that i treat my dog with more compassion then your view if God treats humanity, i wonder if you may have a somewhat impovished view of His character.....

It is evident then that you don't know my view of God and his plans for the salvation of the world, I refer you to my answer to Triumph1300's question above.

We are speaking about Abortion Right!

How could a Loving, Righteous, Merciful God condemn a soul that has never seen the light of Day, Never taken a breath a Air, and has never had the Ability to consider one true thought, good or evil!
According to Hebrew Culture one needs to reach an Age of Understanding, How can a soul sin without the understanding of what sin is!

Obviously there are a lot of individual's on this board who don't take sufficient time to actually read the post of others before replying as I see a lot of individuals jumping to all kinds of erroneous assumptions. Go back, and re-read my post there's nothing in my post that suggest what you are stating here.

As for the last part of your statement we mentioned this likewise in post #'s 70 and 74, which you evidently did not take the time to read either.

See our blog post entitled, ABORTION:What say the Scriptures? for our point of view on the issue.

When Gods law is held above the welfare of people, i believe it is either being misinterpreted or misapplied.

Concerning abortion or the death of any infant I believe we should always keep in mind, that what we see is the baby. But God sees and knows the individual. He knows who they are and what they will become even though they die as an infant. What we know for a fact is that God's decision will be correct.

No, we really don't know a thing about that. We THINK we do, and we certainly like to SAY we do. But we do not know a thing about whether or not God gives opportunities to ALL souls to be born. After all, if we are going to play "Scripture says" games.... and you believe that an aborted fetus never lived in the first place... then how could the Scripture, "It is appointed unto ALL men, once to die, and then the judgement." possibly be true
Hi Willie,

You have me a bit confused. I said we do know what happens to an aborted soul. You seem to be saying we really don't know what happens to our souls after we die.

Do you believe your soul will be reincarnated upon your death?

It doesn't matter what you, or I, or a Buddhist, or an Atheist, "believes"...… the actual truth of the matter is that none of us really "knows" until after we have experienced it.

Thank you Willie,

It does matter what we believe. Scripture is rife on what we are to believe and practice if we are to obtain eternal salvation.

So I will ask the question differently. What happens to the soul of someone who is murdered?

You will probably get the same answer Mary...I doubt @Willie T know that answer any more than you are I do? :)
Hmmmm......It seems Scripture makes it clear we either go to eternal damnation or eternal salvation.

What am I missing here?:(

Didn't I just tell you that "none of US" knows for certain? We can only trust in what we "believe." I hope you didn't think my answer would change because you asked the same question a second time.

So scripture doesn't make it clear that a person either goes onto eternal damnation or eternal salvation??

If that is what you believe, then believe it.
Very coy of you Mr. Willie T!!! ;)

Notice how it was a question, not a statement on what I believe????

What do you believe happens to a persons soul once they die?

You are missing the point of all the typing I have been doing. Neither you nor I "believing" something makes it a universal fact or truth that the other of us has to agree with. So, what could it matter to you what I believe about some obscure point of doctrine? Will it change what you believe? Do you need the information to put me into the correct box? You looking to label people?

I've answered that same question twice already. I really don't know.

That is what I was saying.

How on earth could you, I or Willie know the heart of the person who had been murdered...???
How on earth could we tell "where they go"? Any answer would just be a guess.
Only God would know his or her heart...at the time they were murdered.
So He alone would know what punishment or blessing they would get.

Mary,
If you asked a specific question such as, "Wasn't I right in aborting my baby?", I couldn't answer "Yes" or "No" until we knew one another well enough to have talked about it for perhaps weeks, and I knew pretty well most of the thoughts, fears, expectations, and circumstances surrounding those days. Likewise, I hope you would not condemn me for killing an enemy soldier.... or worse, as some people have done, condemn me for those times I deliberately shot a branch off a tree 6' above some kid's head to give him a chance to save his life. (Yes, some people feel you should kill someone wearing the wrong uniform any time you get the chance.)

... I hardly think He (God) would let that (aborted) child simply "burn in Hell" forever because the child had no choice in their demise.
There is another scriptural option that I think many do not consider in regards these, and others.

It is found in a few places in the bible, and most do not dwell upon those texts.

OK...I see where the problem is. I guess I didn't make myself clear.

I am not asking if the murdered person or the person who did the murder is going to heaven or hell.

I am asking in general....When a person dies do they go to one or the other?

And from post #95: What do you believe happens to a persons soul once they die?

Hope that clears it up. :)

Mary
