Everyone doesn't need to be aware of someone's sin. And it makes the teller look bad. A man told me another man's pornography problem.guess who i disliked more....

Some kind of Appeal to Strawman. I don't know anyone who says that quoting Scripture is condemning.

Not sure why you say Strawman so I will ignore that.
But if you pay attention to the posts...people do get upset when people post scriptures...

My friend, I think you have a gigantic ego, a God complex for you are attempting to do what is up to God to do. Every post you've made exudes assumed authority. Guess what?! You do not have authority over anyone for eternity.

Ya the Word of God has authority. Shocking as that may be.
But as for me and authority...I do not command people to do anything...anything as action comes from the Bible.
As far as eternity...that is up to Christ and as far as you understanding it...Open that Bible up and read...it will tell you all about eternity.

You are losing me here. What is the name of this new denomination? (Or are you playing fast and lose with the term and mean it to refer to grace-centered organizations who refrain from calling out people's sins)

No it may not mean sinless perfection, but neither does it mean continuing in sin and idolatry. And you are forgiven at the time you repent, since repentance is for the remission of sins. But that does not mean that Christians should not be examining themselves, confessing their sins, and turning away from them.

I never said we shouldn't! Just, when we examine ourselves and acknowledge our sins after being born again, the forgiveness we receive is not for restoring our relationship (for that is eternally secure) but to restore fellowship.

And it case anyone jumps in with this thought, being eternally secure is not a license to sin, but a license to yield ourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ Finally and serve Him with the new man that is able to serve Him.

The verse in 1Timothy is specifically talking about elders in the church and how to handle their sin and misconduct.

Here it is in context...

1 Timothy 5:17-21 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹⁷ Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. ¹⁸ For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. ¹⁹ Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. ²⁰ Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. ²¹ I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

These verse, I believe is speaking to how to handle Christians who are struggling (overtaken with a fault).

Galatians 6:1-3 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹ Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
² Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
³ For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

No license either way. "To yield" is a form of the verb, yielding.

In theory 'Being eternally secure' MEANS in practice, serving Him, doing His Will.

Jesus did not say that a good tree can occasionally bring forth bad fruit, so what you say is the theories of men.

So you believe you live in sinless perfection then and have no besetting sins as it says in Hebrews 12:1?

Jesus didn't say lots of things. So pl;ease tell us all if you live in sinless perfection and have not one teeny weeny tiny habit of sin in th0ought word or deed.

Grace centered organization...that is a laugh.

1 God’s blessings follow you and await you at every turn:
when you don’t follow the advice of those who delight in wicked schemes,
When you avoid sin’s highway,
when judgment and sarcasm beckon you, but you refuse.
Psalm 1:1 (VOICE)

A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, but knowledge is easy for a man of understanding. Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deceiving. Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance.
Proverbs 14:6-9 ESV

Yep! But remember He is the good shepherd. He carries His rod and staff and those are for the purpose of getting the sheep back on track when it goes astray!

His mercies are new every morning.

He did for all you r sins! Not just past sins, but even th eones you have yet to commit. They have already been forgiven and removed frrom you raccount and were placed on Jesus at teh cross and paid for.

Now you are perfected forever and are being made holy. IOW unlearining how to sin and learning how to live righteously!

Romans 12
King James Version

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This takes a lifetime and a day to accomplish. God is patient and merciful with us as He is ridding us of all the wrong thinking which produces the wrong action and inculcating teh right thinking (through His Word) which produces the right action.

He didn't bring us this far just to dump us because we may be weak and frail in an area and prone to stumble! He loves us too much for that!

If you are going to tell an addict to just stop, would you be able to offer them continual support? Would you be there for phone calls if they are tempted? Would you help find them support groups or attend with them?
Exactly! This is a very important issue and something that is quite lacking in the church. We have programs and such, but how many are willing to be available in a loving way for someone who is struggling?

We are not of the House of Israel. We live in the age of Grace not Law.

The principal is the same.

Romans 6
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Who do you think an elder is?

James 5:19-20 My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

Again an attempt to silence Christians...
