that is an assumption that has cost mankind dearly.

The bible clearly states

Joh_5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

read it...

3iti 2.26

and what is theer to undeestand, Jesus said if you have seeing me than you have seeing the father, why,

Joh_10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Christ never claimed to be God, not once ever. He cleary stated that the works he did where the works of God, He did nothing of Himself, everything He did proved who God is, He showed who God is on teh earth by His works.
No, it is Scripture which you refuse to believe. (2 Tim.3:16), (2 Peter 1:21)

How is One equal with God and not God? Your unbelief forces you to be illogical.

The verses you give prove Jesus is God The Son. They don't disprove it. Again, your unbelief forces you to be illogical.

It is written, (1Timothy 3:16) " And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

No that hard, if teh bible was Gods word it would have being there in the beginning but it cannot, for Christ is Gods word and there fore He can make that calim, "before Abraham was I am", he wasnt claiming to be God but He was there as Gods word. But man seem to enjoy making teh bible equal to Jesus which it is not and even raising it above God far to many times.
i'm used to responses like that, when confronting people with the Bible, and i understand how hard it is to change your mind, when you have been indoctrinated from the cradle to believe something.

And this is why "tares" are now defined as "weeds" for us, also; so that, having now been convinced that one "knows" what the Book says, they can now be persuaded that they know where they are going, and that they have already found Word, all built lie upon lie, none of it supportable by a holistic view of the Book, in which a god has been made, just as the Book illustrates has happened before and will happen again, as long as people let others interpret for them. One is then put in the position of seeing and not seeing, me too, because one sees what they want to see, and "In the beginning was the Word..." simply no longer fits into the model, so it has been effectively written out of the Bible, by people at the same time saying that the Bible is God, the effect being that even if God Himself came down and told them something, they would not even hear it, it would be "i don't know what you're trying to say, all i heard was some thunder," etc.

The veil is very real. And why change your mind if you are not motivated to do so? The first to tell his side of a story seems right, until the other guy comes and tells his side. And all is vanity.
The truth never changes, i guess.

It seems to me some are listening to someone other than God to relay lies and to even call into question Scripture. Jesus is/was/will always be God.

6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-
7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.
9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. - Galatians 1:6-9

Jesus is Mighty God, Eternal Father, the Lord of Hosts.

well, Paul even warned that the wolves would come in, as soon as he left. And the Bible plainly states, in many places, why we see and do not see; we inevitably have other cares, ones even justifiable in Scripture, caring for family etc, and a sense of responsibility, all which come from acquiring free will. And of what use is it for a man to debate free will, whose every action is either forbidden or compulsory? How can one assimilate, comprehend that verse that does not comport with their premises? They cannot, of course. And so half of the Book remains a mystery, which is manifest every time the verse arises, and verified every time it is ignored. And so the last state is worse than the first.

Gen_1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

We where created in His image, His likeness but we are not God though we spend a lot of time playing God.

Now if Jesus was God than God would have God before God that makes 2 Gods.

now ig jesus was God why would God need to do this, since he already has dominion over all things.

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

and

Heb_12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Now if Jesus was God why would He sit at the right Hand of God when he would have every right to the throne of God.

Making Jesus God takes away all the wonder and sacrifice that God did, it easy for one to sacrifice ones self, its much harder and takes much more love to sacrifice ones own son, Just look at Abraham.

Jesus is the Logos of God. Divine of the Divine. In the person of Jesus Christ, God took on flesh. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. Divine of the Divine. In the believer God indwells us and gives us access to His nature. The Father is God, absolute divine. All are divine, all are God, yet not all are the same person. God is one for there is only one God, but God is plural in persons; Let us make...in our image. Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

For Jesus to be the name above all names He must be God. Only the name of the true God is above all other names. Jesus is shown to be the Creator in Scripture. Only God is the Creator. In Jesus all things are held together. Only God can hold all things together. Jesus allowed Himself to be worshipped. Only God is worthy of worship.

So then you ask why is Jesus at the right hand of the Father? To show Jesus has all authority. Why is Jesus not on the throne? Because the Father is on the throne, yet as God Jesus is on the throne for He and the Father are one. Why did God have to give authority to Jesus? Because this concept is spoken in human terms. Jesus left His abode as God, to become incarnate for our sake. Thus God restored His authority after His earthly mission.

The child was born about 2,000 years ago, but God is eternal. Flesh and bone has been received in heaven as God, Jesus Christ.

BTW: People have been sacrificing their children for a long time...your concept is not true.

hey, as long as you can reconcile that with "you are the Body of Christ" i say amen!
bout the size of it

BTW: People have been sacrificing their children for a long time...your concept is not true.
for all teh wrong reason, and it is not a concept, would you be willing to sacrifice a child of your own knowing they would die.

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM. Hebrews 1:8

The Father calls the Son "God." God speaks to God; they are different persons but of one essence. One God in three persons, Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." Do you believe Jesus lied here?

To reconcile the Body of Christ, it is the church...

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19
you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5
in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:22

I never said we are God.

No, Jesus is God The Son. God is One but three persons. Jesus is God The Son. Second Person of the Trinity.

Well, why would God need to do any of this anyway, since He is God. He didn't have to. But He did.

Jesus, God The Son, sits at the right hand of the God The Father. It is that way because God the Father so directed it to be that way.

Foolish statement is yours. God The Father sacrificed God The Son, and felt it as no other can describe. You will remember those words you just said.

which one migh that be??

Because of Love, so hard to comprehend yet it is why all this was done.

God would love man to understand His great love for Us, but we keep undermining it by adding our works, as if God need us to do anything fro him to Love us. he loves us because He made us That simple.

You undermine all God is doing by denying that Jesus Christ is God and denying the Bible as the Word of God. Yet you want to proclaim the 'love' of God. How sweet...and sickening.

The problem is that while God is love, that's not all he is. Furthermore love is not God. What that means is that just because you claim love or do something with love (or loving intentions) doesn't mean its God, that God is involved or that God approves.

Truth on the otherhand... God's love doesn't exist without it. Now something can be truthful and not of God. It is a truth that the Chicago Cubs are the World Series Champs! Now I can say God let them win cause I like the Cubs, but in reality... I don't know that God sees it as that important.

But God does care about people knowing and believing the truth about Him.

my argument there would be that you then have a dichotomy that you cannot resolve at the "Body of Christ." See this whole "Jesus was God" thing ends up being a denial of where the Body of Christ is, right now, and note that even the term "was" is always used, at least until i get in the mix and start using the word "is," "We is the Body of Christ, right now, and God is the Head of Christ, right now," and one can meet Him in the Air, right now, too, unless of course one are waiting for some other body to come and physically, bodily "save" one, even as one simultaneously claims OSAS, and that they are saved, already.

And we have quite vivid interpretations of this phenomenon, it is not new, and the comparisons to looking to the Snake on a Pole, and later, the descendants worshipping Nehushtan in the Promised Land, must be considered with an open mind, and if they don't apply--which, they do, to anyone whom you hear saying that they are saved in one breath, and that "things used to be better than they are now" (snakebit) in the next breath--then at least find some application for them, because they speak right to a seeker, imo, and i could fill a page with the comparisons, but yet i never hear a sermon on this Nehushtan worship, and cannot get so much as a single comment on it when i bring it up, for reasons that become increasingly obvious, the more one hears.

And from there it is a simple thing to get leaders who would not abide a woman pastor to start whole-heartedly endorsing "female" interpretations of meeting Him in the Air, not recognizing that hypocrisy is being manifested there, too, so now you got like 3 things, that all witness for each other, which i'm being pointed here so let me just say that i have not suddenly become much less of a hypocrite myself or anything, ok, it is all still just vanity in another sense, and it is one's heart that God judges, not one's beliefs, but we nonetheless reap what we sow, meaning you can confess what you like, you are still going to manifest what you believe to be true, and it is you who will reap the fruit. This is a blessing, and a guide.
The body of Christ is the church which is on Earth. Jesus is in heaven with his father, but if you don't understand what the right hand of God is then you don't understand what the Bible is telling you. It seems you don't understand a lot of what the Bible is telling you.

denying the Bible as the Word of God.
Prove it is, show me a bunch of christians walking in truth who only read teh bible, if teh bible was Gods word why are you not walking in teh truth even Christ, according to teh bible says,

Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Joh 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Now according to the bible

Joh_6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

now according to Jesus teh scripures do not bring you life so if they cannot than how can it be Gods word, for Gods word is Life, but the devil keeps peoples heads in it and away from Jesus and

2Co_3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

again as it says

1Jn_2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Gal_1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

as I said before, revelation only comes from God, you will not get it reading the bible or going to church or studying

Mat_11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Mat_16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

You want the truth it is in Jesus when you are willing to give Him a go.

Eph_4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
