The point might be that you are defending those who would be rich from a perspective that likely will not stand up to much scrutiny, but that is ultimately up to you to decide

Perhaps some things are correct, but some things are also incorrect. And so we're told:

1 Cor. 14:29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said.

In other words, DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU'RE TOLD. Always weigh it against Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit, -- regardless of how FAMOUS a person is, or claims to be.

All you need do is google "Jack Van Impe Rapture teaching" and Jack will give you chapter and verse Bible teaching and Jack sets no dates. But it is Jesus that says we believers are to know when Jesus is at the door ready to return==and that is today!!

If it costs nothing, it's likely worth nothing. At the Cross it cost Christ everything.

Romans 8.32: "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" Romans itself also speaks compellingly of "the obedience of faith" and "obedience to the faith" at the beginning and end of the Epistle.
