This forum has a ton of bad theology, some heretical, some not. My question is, how should heretics be handled?
Debate until it's too late.
Heresy is a strong term but weren't we all heretics before we were saved? We opposed the so called Church dogma. If we are Protestants, we oppose the RCC dogma. Does that mean we are heretics? And who will judge us?
Non-trinitarians go against both Catholics and Protestants (97% of Christendom). Are they heretics?
Are Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons heretics?
We are all believers and followers of Christ. Not any one of us has it all right. Opinions vary. But we insist that our views are orthodox doctrine. It's pride. We want with all our hearts to
be right with God, in line with His plans and good servants, favorable in His sight. But we fail often - all of us.
No worries, because God is forgiving and merciful and has factored into His plan all our failures and misunderstandings.
Our faith in Christ is sufficient. It has to be, He gave it to us and will finish it.
There has always been tares among the wheat but by their fruit you will know them. Let them go, do not adhere to the Devil's schemes, ignore them amd move on. It is for God to judge them, not us. People were burned at the stake for false opinions, taking God's authority into our hands.
Besides aren't the naysayers against Christ, all the other religions of the world and philosophies and atheists the ones who we should be more concerned about? Spread the gospel then wipe the dust off your sandals if they don't listen and move on. Chriat has already defeated Satan.
Those who are for Christ are on our side. GOD will sort things out with ALL His sheep. If you are not in that group, then it doesn't matter what the rest of think or say, you'll be toast.
