In Daniel, 9:24-26, we are given four prophetic words, with the first verse prophecy being that after the temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem, that Israel and Jerusalem will have 490 years in which to stop their sin of idolatrous worship, after which, God will bring in a new process for the forgiveness of sins which will bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up the vision and the prophecy and to anoint the most Holy.
Daniel’s people and Jerusalem did not respond to this prophecy within the 490 years, so God began fulfilling the second half of this prophetic verse, by fulfilling other prophetic words, by having Jesus Born of a Virgin, in Bethlehem at the start of the fifth Age of mankind. Even now, then the Little Horn rose up against Jesus and tried to have him killed through his earthly agents.
In Verse 25, God told how the Temple would be rebuilt in times of trouble, and after the allotted time for the temple to be rebuilt, that the Messiah will be cut off, i.e. killed, but not for himself. Why was this significant? Because the sacrifice of the Messiah of Israel was bringing in the new process by which the redemption of our sins will occur, sealed up by His Blood and anointing what was most holy.
After this the Little Horn returns with an army to destroy and level Jerusalem and the Temple and to take the rest of the nation of Israel into slavery scattered throughout the whole earth.
God’s plan for the salvation of the earth, has now waited for two ages for the prophetic prophecy in Exodus, 20:4-6 to be completely fulfilled for the visitation of the Nation of Israel’s sins iniquities upon the fathers’ during these present two ages. children and the children’s children. The finishing of the visitation of the iniquities of the fathers upon the nation of Israel is drawing to a conclusion, and when it has ended God will once again turn back towards israel and hear theit plight and begin the process of drawing them to himself and will plant them in a fertile filed and teach them about the highest mountian in all of the world based on the foundational stone that will come down from heaven at around the same time.
During the time of the kings mentioned in the fifth segment of the Statue prophecy, God will Judge the wicked heavenly Hosts in heaven and the kings of the earth at Armageddon at the same time and they will be gathered together and imprisoned in a pit for many days. Isa, 24:21-22.
In Rev, 12 we are told that Satan is thrown out of heaven down to the earth, and that when he, and the other five heavenly hosts and the judged kings of the earth are released afte they have been locked up for 1,000 years, we enter the little while period, possibly a little longer than 20 years.
During this 1,000 year period of Satan being locked up in the Bottomless pit, supposedly to get a kingdom, his good and faithful servants will continue his oppression of the people of the earth in an attempt that God’s Everlasting Kingdom will not get a foot hold on the earth.
In the Parable of the Minas in Luke, 19, Jesus hints that that when Satan Goes away, supposedly to get his kingdom, that Israel will declare that they no longer want Satan to be king over their lives. When Satan is released 1,000 years later he knows that his time is short, i.e. only around 20 or so years, for him to attempt to establish his earthly kingdom where he only will be worshipped.
Initially, when the Bottomless pit is unlocked, the kings of the earth rise up out of the pit, under the control of Satan, to attack those who did not have God’s seal upon them, but they still did not repent of their wicked ways.
After this the four angels were released to kill off a third of mankind.
After this, John is told to measure the temple and we are told of the two witnesses who eventually are killed and then rise again and in the turmoil that follows their resurrection, 7,000 people are killed in Jerusalem, but the rest of the people in Jerusalem gave glory to the God of heaven.
Now the beast of the four previous beasts of Daniel, 7:1-12 manifests themselves as a single entity in the sea of the people of the earth, and the dragon gave authority to the manifested beast and all of the world marvelled and followed the beast. So they worshipped the dragon, i.e. Satan, who gave them a seven year solemn covenant, and the beast saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make word with him?”
The beast spoke great things and blasphemies and he made war with the Saints and to overcome them and authority was given to him over every tribe tongue and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him whose name is not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the beginning of the foundation of the earth.
Now the Little Horn beast, the False Prophet, also rose up from out of the pit in the earth and he made great signs happen and he cause the people to worship the beast and the image of the beast.
Now to cut to the end of the End times.
In Revelation, 19 we are told that at the end of the Millennium Age both the Beast and the False Prophet are captured by Jesus and thrown into the Lake of Fire.
Then in chapter 20 we are told: -
“Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet had just been cast into by Jesus. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
After this the earth will be refurbished like new once again, to be given as the inheritance for the Saints.
Our understanding of the events of the End Time, as recorded in the scriptures, generally follows the above sequence of event, however not all of the events and their sequence has been provided in these two posts.
For example I have not given when Babylon was remembered once more before God as described in the Seventh Bowl Judgement which occurred in 1926 or that Jerusalem was divided into three three part in 1948.
Neither did I present the order in which the woe, bowl or trumpet prophecies occur as this was a brief thumbnail sketch of what has and is to happen with respect to the end times.
