To the New Believer...
A False teacher of the Gospel will appear to be most knowledgeable... but once they are questioned or challenged.. they will become defensive... overbearing... and will always resort to "attacking" behaviour... This is because they do not care for those they are teaching... they only care to be heard and recognized.
. Show me a man who says he does not sin and you will see a liar.
No you just have no idea what he is speaking of.Paul said that if you walk in the Spirit you shall not sin.
Paul said, how can we, who are dead to sin, keep on sinning.
So, if you don't agree with Paul, i guess you'll keep on writing that we are to be sinners.
Thats a bad idea, as it contradicts the truth.
You have confused Revelation 20:11 with the Judgement seat of Christ.
One is for the Christ rejector, and one is for the Born again.
One will find you in hell, and one will find you with Jesus.
Your denomination has confused you., Cristo Rei.
No you just have no idea what he is speaking of.
To the New Believer...
Please NOTE that a TRUE teacher of the gospel will invite questions... and even embrace differences of opinion without the NEED to belittle... overpower and/or dismiss... A true teacher of the Gospel of Christ will teach in a patient and open way... they will also display the characteristics of compassion.. and patience... truly caring about those they are "feeding".

Please be very careful who you allow into your heart. A teacher of CHRIST's WORD will ALWAYS carry with them a spirit of humility.
U could be right, u could be wrong. U project so much certainty over so much unknown...
To your claim of being sinless. Don't u ever get angry, feel pride or have any selfish ambitions?
Are you a sinner, needing to repent. You should be, according to Jesus (Matt & Mark)Are you sinning and repenting?
You should not be.., according to Paul.
Read my Threads.
They can help you, but you have to have to allow yourself to use the NT correctly.
How did u put all that into a small link? That's cool
That's all interesting but u didn't answer my questions.
I believe being born again happens at baptism and doesn't secure your salvation
Paul discusses his battle against sin, his weakness, the thorn in him, spiritual warfare, that the evil one is with him every step of the way.
In Romans 7 we read about Paul's sinful afflictions. I think he was struggling with sinful feelings and thoughts. Although there are verses where Paul appears to say that we can become sinless, there are others where Paul is clearly talking about his struggle with sin.
In 1 John 1:8 we are told If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us
But then in 1 John 3:9 we read No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them
So we see the same thing here with John...
That's why a thorough examination of consciousness is required cos the smallest of thoughts and feelings are sinful.
If you work a bit, it's a selfish ambition, a sin. If you have money saved that is a sin, it's easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle
I could go on and on with things of this nature that everyone does...
Sounds like you no longer have a physical body. You must not need to spend a lot on personal necessities. If Judas had not hung himself, he would have been in competition with that title Paul used, "chief of sinners". Paul admitted, he had to die daily. You use Paul as your source of information, yet claim you no longer have a physical body? You are still defining yourself (believing wrong) as what you were before you were saved.
Listen, You are not that now, you are the "New Creation".
Water Baprism secured nothing.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit secures The whole person, body, soul, spirt...
Men do not Become "SINLESS" until they are RISEN UP in a glorious body.
Remember WHO Paul IS...and Who was IN Paul's crowd.
Paul was an expert in OT Law, and from an Israel Tribe Under Jewish Law.
The crowds Listening often were mixed with Jews and Gentiles.
Paul often used himself as an Example...
Expressly what was well known historical knowledge to the Jews...and knowledge that had nothing to do with Gentiles NOT under the Law.
In Jewish Law...umpteen Things were called Sin. Men against men, men against God, mixing fabrics, eating certain foods, certain thoughts, etc. etc.
Gentile's Sin, is being Naturally Born Against God, Disbelief in God, Disbelief in Christ Jesus and corrupting their soul with their disbelief.
A Gentiles Sin is between the individual and God...nothing to do with behaviors between men, fabrics, food, NOT celebrating Jewish feasts, sabbaths, etc.
We all HAVE Sin...for a Converted man, his Sin is forgiven, cover, remembered no more by God, and the man Accounted Whole and sealed unto God and guaranteed to be raised in A New Glorious/ SINLESS Body.
Examine further. WHO is telling WHO thoughts are a sin?
Thoughts AGAINST WHO?
Can you SIN Against a man?
Can you Forgive a man of Sin?
I can't.
That is OT Law.
My Sin was Against God, and I accepted His Offer to Resolve my Sin Against God, and can never Again Sin Against God.
Can I Trespass (intentionally or unintentionally) Against men? Sure.
Do I have The Lords Direction, Authority, and Teaching to Ask men Forgiveness of my Trespass Against them and to Ask them for Forgiveness should I Trespass Against them?
Most definitely.
Uh no. That is OT laws.
Jesus' message is about BELIEF in God, in Jesus..(The Word of God), Trusting and Submitting to His Power to Keep that man Freed from all Disbelief or Trust IN God.
Jesus never taught Believe IN Earthly men.
Jesus Never taught a Converted man to Repeatedly claim he is committing Sin or to repeatedly ask God for Forgiveness.
But men teach that and men (even men who claim to be Converted) claim to repeatedly ask God for forgiveness.
Why?
Do they NOT Trust God has forgiven them their Sin?
Do they NOT Trust God has Freed them from Sin?
Do they NOT Trust God will forgive their Trespasses Against men, IF the man forgives men who have Trespassed Against them?
He already said He would.
Prayers TO God should be ABOUT God...Praise, Thankfulness, Exalting, Expressing Love and Adornation...and Guidance for anything good they desire to do.
And how do many people actually pray...?
Forgive me, forgive me, forgive me...Oh oh make my Aunt sick with cancer Well...make my kids behave, I could use a new home, car, big big TV, another Job I like...blah, blah, blah, me, me, me.
Glory to God,
Taken
U responded to my post which was directed at the OP, as a result your answers are mostly irrelevant...
Sorry. I am under the impression this is an open forum. That doesn't mean my response is irrelevant, but you are not obligated to read anything to choose to skip past.
Can you explain what u mean by "baptism of the Holy Spirit", what u mean by "secures the whole person, body, soul, spirt"
and how you can be so convinced about that...
* Baptism of the Holy Spirit;
God Indwelling a person with the Gift of Gods Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38
* Secures;
[13] In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise...
* Convienced;
Trust in the Lord God Almighty.
