...says the devil! There is no option in just trusting the Lord....you must follow men...and such.

America is NOT the church. Christians don't entangle themselves in the "affairs" of this world (especially politics). Nothing is more demonic than politics...except maybe religion.

If there are two rival biker gangs in your town...must you choose one over the other? Same with all politics...to the one who is the Lord's.

Or...marrying the opposite sex to please God and the masses, only to cause much hurt and destruction to that sham marriage. The heterosexual partner will never be fulfilled in the way a "normal" marriage would. The homosexual spouse would be living a lie by trying to force themselves into an orientation that is unnatural to THEM , and never fulfilling. Kids are also involved within that sham marriage...I guess all gay people should just make everyone else happy and stay in their closets, or maybe they should all be shot? Or, I know, how about they all just off themselves! Does anyone here realize that those who re-marry if their first spouse is still living are adulterers? Seems, they are in the same boat...yet, many will justify that by skewing scripture to fit their own views. Sin is sin and I see no difference between the 2 subjects above ; homosexuality and adultery. So please people, stop picking and choosing your pet sins and adding weight to one but not the other. It's no wonder most gay's feel hated by God and His "people". Adulterers, drunkards and fornicators are welcomed with open arms for the most part as, those sins are "different" to so many Christians but, oh no fags or dykes!!! Let them never darken the doorway of our Church!! God forbid!
I believe many Church's will be held accountable for the treatment of those outside the Church. Who are we to be judging those without the Church anyway??! How about we, oh, I don't know...PRAY for them? Love them? Novel idea there, huh?

I've known gay men who did marry women. It's happened in my own family as a matter of fact. It was terrible. They still fooled around with men while making their wives miserable.

I have a gay brother. He married a sweet woman. They had 2 boys...his wife found pictures of the gay variety and put 2 and 2 together. He fessed, they divorced. He and her are still friendly to one another. One of his sons is also gay...he's 25 and just came "out" to his dad. The other one is straight and is about to get married!! Much heartache came out of my brother keeping his true sexual orientation pushed down for so very long. I love my brother so very much and, I know it bothers him still, what the Word has to say about it. Yet, he has given up and is now married to a man. They have been together for about 20 years now. They live in another state and, I pray for him all the time to realize what the grace of God can do for him. And, my nephew, his youngest, has only told his dad about his being gay. Lot's, and lot's of constant stress involved in all of it...

I say love requires us to minimize the harm done to others and maximize the good we can do according to our abilities and circumstances. Gay marriage might not be ideal, but what is? Donald Trump and his three marriages along with all the affairs?

I think when Paul talks about homosexuality, he condemns the lust involved. No doubt about it, lots of gay sex involves lust and not love. That's certainly not good. Once he talks about effeminacy -- and that's pretty bad too in my book for a man to try to attract another man by acting like a woman. Then there are insecure men who want to dominate other men -- they feel more like men if they can dominate another man since they see that as harder than dominating a woman. I think I've seen it all.

Remember too that most men were married then, so if they were having gay sex, they would have been cheating on their wives. Your brother sounds better off to me in a gay marriage; and I'm glad his ex-wife wasn't seriously damaged because that can happen. I wish her the best.

It's not loving for a gay man to marry a woman unless she knows beforehand, it's just not; and love is how I measure things and interpret things. How loving was it when AIDS was fairly widespread for men to go have gay sex and later give it to their wives when they had sex with her? Why put women, innocent women, at such risk?

What's with the Catholic Church making gays feel so guilty. Young gays probably think they don't want to marry women, so why not become priests? Later they find out they can't resist temptation. That whole setup reeks to me since they forbid marriage. It's as if there is a "Gay Mafia" running things and they want as many gay priests as they can get -- so the straight guys should stay out. Oh yes, that's a good plan to put a bunch of gay guys together in seminary and tell them to be chaste. It's crazy if you ask me.

People say Jesus never talked about it; but there are two passages where he could have been. "Raca" means "worthless." A gay man could be called that since he's "worthless" at making babies. Theologians debate that. Then there is the story about the Roman soldier who brings his young male servant to be healed. That is a little unusual; and it's true that men back then sometimes got young boys as servants and lovers. I don't know what to think about it.

" No doubt about it, lots of gay sex involves lust and not love." <---True and, the very same can be said about hetero sex ;)

"It's not loving for a gay man to marry a woman unless she knows beforehand, it's just not; and love is how I measure things and interpret things." <--- No it is not. Yet, many gay folk are in such secrecy that they will do anything to be "normal" and do not see the implications. Especially the younger ones. IMHO.

"Oh yes, that's a good plan to put a bunch of gay guys together in seminary and tell them to be chaste. It's crazy if you ask me."<--- HAHA! How absurd that actually is, when you think about it!

I knew a young kid who pretended to be straight when sober. His mother was a religious fanatic. He'd get drunk and then go to bed with men. He got AIDS. I think it was partly her fault.

    It is nuts, isn't it?

I think hetero sex that is all lust and no love is as bad as gay sex. I had a friend who got terribly abused by men who used her. I tried to talk to her to get her to stop trying to find "love" in bars. She was sweet, but she was insecure and had the drinking problem. Anyone could get her in bed. When I talked to her, I wasn't condemning. I tried to show her how she was hurting herself. That's what got to me. I haven't seen her in years; but when I asked her brother a few months ago, he said she'd settled down.

There was a gay couple that came to our church. They wanted my pastor to marry them, but he wouldn't. They were welcome to come though... They ended up being the first gay couple in our community in our community to be able to be married at the court house...marriage didn't last long at all. But they did continue coming for awhile. I had no idea they were a couple until way later.

He was elected not selected. I am not an elite and I voted for him. He was the best of two bad options.

But our government is already involved and has been for many years. When I worked for Social Security which began well before same sex marriages were legal anywhere in the USA, I had to make marriage decisions frequently. Lots of people will do things honestly but lots of people is not everybody. When there was an advantage money wise to being married, they would aim for that. When there an advantage money wise to NOT being married, they would aim for that. I caught them on both sides of it.

With the newer laws and court decisions, it has simply all become more complicated... even though I am no longer [Thank God!]in the decisions. I remember denying the claim of two women who filed a claim for Social Security benefits to a step-child based on their marriage by a Justice of the Peace who did have the authority to marry people. The problem was that what the Justice of Peace did was illegal in the state of California and we based our decisions on the legality of a marriage under state law.

There's no doubt in my mind that "money" is a big reason behind people wanting gay marriage. There are other reasons too; but money is one. You can get discounts from some businesses too if married, can't you?

The laws really need updating. If tax benefits for married people were originally meant to make it easier to have children, why not forget the "married" status and give the tax benefits to whoever is really raising the children? If grandma is doing it, give her the tax break. If a maiden is, give her the tax break.

Do you want the government to enforce all your religious ideas? What denomination would get to decide what the government should do? Catholics? Episcopalians? Baptists? Who?

There could be less of it if they were in adult relationships with other men.

Say you had a son of about 14 or 15. Would you rather live next door to a happily married gay couple -- or a single gay man pretending to be straight who might have an eye for your son?

That is what is meant by the scripture and I shall visit the iniquity of the father's upon the children and upon the children's children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me...
Generational hand me downs. Same with drug addiction.. Alcoholism... So much sin is hereditary. But conversion can and does break the cycle. Keep praying. There's always hope.

Yes we know what liberals are - but don't you think that the powers that be are going to use whatever is in their arsenal to trip up the saints??

It's not all Trump's fault - no one ever said it was. But he's continuing the dictates of his masters. Think Trump isn't a deceiver? Go back to his campaign speeches where he ADAMANTLY DECLARED HE'D STOP THE FOREIGN WARS.

For heaven's sake America is crumbling as Trump over-extends us in foreign wars. A lot of people are getting cancer because many of the underground piping is crumbling. Our infrastructure is failing. Just how much do you think it costs to fight these foreign wars? I know at least three former army who came back and are now getting disability - $1k a month. One guy isn't even hurt. He's working full time. How many people do you think we can afford to support with only half the country working?

Trump is not making America great again - it's a BIG CON JOB. I urge you to pray and ask God to show you the truth. Remember Scripture "Satan appears as an angel of light..." we know the verse but do we recognize it when WE SEE IT???

We know what Beto O'Rourke is - if you search online you can find a pic of him dressed in satanic goat garb.

But do we recognize the more subtler enemies? The one such as was in the garden who subtly said "Yea hath God said..." The one who comes up beside you acting like a friend? I'm sure you've been betrayed sometime in your life - we know who our enemies are don't we? But the most dangerous are those who appear as our friend. It is they who do the most damage.

I learned this. So did David: "...mine own familiar friend has lifted up his heel against me..."

The most sinister of Satan's ploys are those who he sends out to act like our friend - an angel of light.

What is the old axiom "Know your enemy""

How many men have been led to their downfall by a beautiful woman who cleaned out his bank account? How many women have been fooled by Joe college who turned out to be a wife-beater? How many schools have been fooled by Mr. Ivy League teacher who turned out to want to be near children to abuse them?

Satan appears as an angel of light. The elite have put Trump in his position.

If nothing else then this should convince you all: We finally know what happened to JFK. He was shot by his own driver. Right after he gave the speech about secret societies. If these evil individuals can have JFK murdered do you really think they'd let Trump live?

    Watch this unbelievable footage:

WARNING: I had to watch it many times before my mind was able to grasp that the driver indeed held a gun. The mind sometimes has to see something multiple times before it grasps the actuality of what happens.

I already told you I do not think government and religion shouldn't mix; and I already gave my opinions about gay marriage. If you want a theocracy, then maybe you want to go back to the good old days when Catholics and Protestants were killing each other for control of the government. A Protestant king would take over and kill Catholics. A Catholic king would take over and kill Protestants. I'd rather not do things that way. I think everyone-- everyone -- has the right to make up his own mind about religion; and I think it's unwise and even sometimes evil for one person to try to impose his religion on other people.

Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world. It isn't. He doesn't need soldiers, policemen, kings and presidents to establish his kingdom by force. Apparently you seem to need the government to tell you if you can marry a woman but not a man. If your belief is you should marry a woman, by all means do that. Don't marry a man if you think it's wrong.

I am very afraid for our country as I had not known before how pervasive the evil truly was. I have come to the full realization of the verse "the whole world lieth in the lap of the wicked one." I can't vote for either party in good conscience. I may vote independent - if our votes even count.

If anything, this should spur believers everywhere to pray for this country. Everything is aimed at youth today: Hollywood is arrayed against youth, the media is owned and you don't get the truth, and we're in a police state - many just don't realize is yet. We're being modeled after communist China - widespread surveillance, every one of our emails read, and government can turn our phones on remotely to listen to our most private conversations. Endless foreign wars have weakened us, drugs have been imported to wipe out the middle class - the ones whose kids have money to buy drugs.

Think your phone isn't listening in? I just spoke with someone who told me that he was discussing something with others and then ads appeared on his iPhone.

Think this technology won't be abused??? Technology is only as moral as the person behind the camera. I've heard too much over the years and know how authority is abused. Do you really think that the tiny cameras the size of a bumblebee won't hover outside your window so the folks watching can get a laugh?

This is 1984 folks. Orwell couldn't have been more prophetic.
