I wonder how some people support Donald Trump. Oh, he's not gay -- so he's okay. Funny how people pick and choose who and what to condemn.
No, actually that isn't necessarily always true. As I have mentioned before, I worked in this field for 24 years. There are still people on the Sex Offender Registry for consensual sex with another homosexual who was under the age limit.
In fact, I recall a young consenting heterosexual couple who were both convicted of Child Molestation because they were both under age. (The father of the girl turned the boy in... but it backfired on his own daughter.... Utah, go figure.)
You know the law. Minors aren't deemed mature enough to give informed consent. You can't let adults take advantage of people too immature to know what they're doing.
I also think the marriage laws in the US need to be changed when there are states with no minimum age to get married. That should not be allowed.

You do realize, don't you, that the Left is openly stumping for the voting age to be lowered to as much as two years younger than most State's Child Protection laws? In a few years, most of that stuff will be so messed-up that people will be allowed to sleep with a ten-year old, as long as they fall under certain technicalities.
There is pressure on both sides. Some states have recently raised the age people can marry. Some things may be moving in the right direction. Right now in some states a man can get an underage girl pregnant and escape prosecution if her parents and the girl agree to the marriage. I think that's horrible. A girl that just hit puberty can't make a real decision. I consider that child abuse.

Yes. Wikipedia has an article about child marriage in the US. Oddly enough, I heard about the problem first on the BBC. I was shocked. I thought things like that happened mostly in Muslim countries. Boy, was I wrong about that. It doesn't get discussed that much by Americans. Some states have no age limit at all.

Every state except Delaware and New Jersey allows underage marriage in exceptional circumstances if one or more of the following circumstances apply:
- consent of a court clerk or judge (sometimes the consent of a superior court judge, rather than a local judge, is required)
- consent of the parents or legal guardians of the minor
- if one of the parties is pregnant
- if the minor has given birth to a child
- if the minor is emancipated.
- 2 states have a minimum age of 14: Alaska and North Carolina.
- 4 states have a minimum age of 15.
- 20 states have a minimum age of 16.
- 8 states have a minimum age of 17.
In Massachusetts the general marriage age is 18, but children may be married with judicial consent with no minimum age limit. In the absence of any statutory minimum age, one opinion is that the minimum common law marriageable age of 12 for girls and 14 for boys may still apply.
To me, what's missing is a maximum age for those who are involved with someone in the "minimum age of consent", with only a few years difference - by this I mean, if the age of minimum consent is 15 for example, the maximum age of the partner for that minimum age person, should be 18 or 19, at the latest. Not having this, this margin of +/- a few years, allows for this "loophole" of minimum age of consent to be taken advantage of by adults (20+ years of age); and that's predatory, as you suggested and I agree with.

Did you know that 30,000 American KIDS UNDER AGE 10 have been arrested in today's police state? Much of the information from these two sources isn't reported on in the mainstream news. I just read that a child was arrested for biting his sandwich into the shape of a gun. People have truly taken leave of their senses in America.

How could nobody have seen that??: I myself have watched that footage many times and noticed nothing. The video is not great but, I can't believe what I just saw. It was obvious that he was hit from more than one direction and, that second shot definitely came from in front of him.
I had to watch it many times before my brain could recognize what my eyes saw but then it was shocking as I realized what had happened. You can see right after the driver shoots, JFK was shot in the neck. No wonder the Secret Service threatened hospital workers that they'd better stay quiet about what they saw - they were obviously in on it. That shows me that JFK's words were right on the money - the elite have people situated in high positions. That's why I don't believe that Trump is the populist he claims. The elite have too much power - they have their people in all the high positions - and they're willing to murder.
No - my point was that I don't believe our votes matter anymore - the elite select both candidates and serve them up to us so that we think we have a choice.
IMO there is an urgency - the masses of Christians are being fooled and being deceived is never a good thing. We were forewarned not to be. I never asked you to agree with me; everyone sees things from their own perspective. I think Christians are too complacent and I personally don't believe that's what God calls us to. We're called to be soldiers and a soldier doesn't sit there praying that God will save them from enemy mortar - they get out and do what needs to be done. A pastor one time complained to me that he'd been praying for God to give him a house and he still didn't get one. I said "shouldn't you take steps to get a house?"
People are busy baking soufflé's for the church picnic instead of contacting legislators or stopping some of the wrong things being taught to youth in school. We sat through hearing missionaries talk of the work they're doing in far-off countries yet none ever got up to tell us about work they were doing in our own city. One church we attended the (young) pastor and his cronies flew to some island to "evangelize" (funny no one but the pastor's cronies were invited to go, but we were asked for money) The church was in a bad city and they could have walked out the front door of the church to evangelize. The pastor and his cronies fooled the congregation and fooled themselves into thinking they were needed on some island when they were needed right there in their own dull city (without the white sand and beaches).
There is a disconnect.
It seems as if someone should have witnessed the driver in the video - it probably happened so fast that everyone was turning to look where the first shot came from. It really opens up a lot of other questions - why Oswald was in on it and took the fall. It seems as if he could have been brainwashed. The government brought all the evil scientists from Nazi Germany to America and it looks like they may have found a way to control a person. I read that Sirhan Sirhan who allegedly killed Bobby Kennedy has no recollection of the shooting. It's evil.
I would rather not think about voting at all - I actually hate politics, yet they are affecting us on a very real level. I believe in doing our part and then it's up to God to do what only He can. But there is an apathy today that I haven't seen before.
I'm not offended by Trump's crass demeanor. I'm concerned because I believe he's fooling a lot of Christians. I urge you to follow Chuck Baldwin for awhile. Read up on the Hegelian Dialectic. The elite chose who to put before us - probably at Bildebergers. I think Trump was selected to get the Christians settled down after Obama so they'd THINK they had a champion in the White House while moving America into the North America Union. He's doing it right under your nose Scott. Most people are uninformed - they only know a smattering - and can't really gauge what Trump is truly doing.
He's a Christian you say? What about "Do not kill"? Or didn't you know Trump dropped 100,000 bombs since becoming President?

But the elite know what they're doing - they're obviously fooling you and many others. They know that throwing Christians a few crumbs will keep them quiet. Who cares about some little Iraqi kids anyway? We're safe right? So keep dropping those bombs Donald! All the good Christians will still love you.
It just proves how selfish Americans are. We don't care that our country - our President - is bombing, maiming and killing in some far-off country....as long as we can be safe and warm in our homes watching the Super Bowl.

Trump is signaling to the elite that he's on board with them. Freemasons communicate with secret hand signs. It becomes clear once you see Reagan, Bush, Clintons, and all the other leaders of other countries all throwing the same hand sign. This alone would be suspect, but coupled with Trump's continued warmongering, North American Trade continuation of sending jobs out of the country, Red Flag Gun Laws push, and packing the WH with CFR is proof whose side he's on and it's NOT YOURS:
Since learning about what Trump is doing with his hands it's uncanny how many actors and actresses I catch throwing the same hand sign. I was watching an old western and an actress threw it right in the middle of a scene. Most people would have brushed it off as being an odd thing to do but I realized that she had been allowed to be a star because that's how it works: they'll make you rich and famous if you become aligned with them. I just saw John Travolta throw the sign in a photo.

You are giving people too much credit.
It was not the elite who put a Christian in the White House, and I was not referring to Donald Trump, but Mike Pence. It is God who raises up leaders, not men.
You are also off on your understanding of the commandment not to kill. David, a man after God's own heart, killed. And no man can take or give life. Again...only God does.
In your supposition you (and perhaps Chuck Baldwin) have taken God out of the equation. That makes you wrong. Might want to do something about that.
