I think most Christians have compassion on all of God's enemies. But we also know that God FIGHTs for Israel, just like in 1967 when 7 cowardly nations attacked TINY Israel and fled bloody and dying. God fought for Israel and He will continue.I do hope that just because someone has compassion on the Palestinians you don’t automatically presume other things about them . I to have compassion on them, a deep heart felt sadness for all those caught up in this war. I don’t hate God just because I see some wrong in the actions of Israel.
I know that this issue did not start last year , I am aware of a long drawn out history. However I know that the compassion I feel inside is deep and doesn’t come from me but from the Lord.
Who is going to pray for these people, who is going to weep for them , has it ever occurred to you that we are called into different ministries, with different convictions because that’s just how Gods does things. It shouldn’t make us right or wrong or line us up for condemnation just because some have one view and others see something else within the situation.
I won’t be arguing with anyone about what I have just stated, and I haven’t stated it as a staff member either- it’s said because Its laid on my heart to convey as a Christian sitting at my iPad reading what has been written.
Zechariah 13:8well this just shows you do not know the bible.
Absolutely, Jesus loves the little children. Not just Jewish ones.Bingo!
That happens only after the one third left alive get saved. Totally out of context to try and apply that to Israel today.I think most Christians have compassion on all of God's enemies. But we also know that God FIGHTs for Israel, just like in 1967 when 7 cowardly nations attacked TINY Israel and fled bloody and dying. God fought for Israel and He will continue.
Zechariah 14:12
12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.
We can disagree. Why anyone denies the patently obvious is a topic for another thread.Sorry, but Israel does not intentionally target women infants and children.
Don't they claim they hide like rats in tunnels? That is your excuse for starving and murdering tens of thousands of women and children?!If you are looking for a culprit, blame Hamas! It is Hamas who hides their weapons in schools, neighborhoods and hosapitals.
What evil nonsense. Certainly not something that should ever darken the thoughts or lips of any believer. In the UN terms on conducting war- Hamas has made their entire civilian population legitimate targets of war by what they do to their citizens.
I don't care if they agree there really is a Santa. If we took a poll in the Nazi camps, I suspect the people there would have thought the death of Nazis would have been a good thing. Believers should know it is wicked to starve a population, bomb their hospitals and houses, and slaugher tens of thousands of innocent people, demonizing the children by calling them legitimate targets!Remember many of these supposed innocent civilians agree that the genocide of Jews is a good thing!
How can anyone surrender when they are dead? Most of the infrastructure I hear was destroyed. What do you think the survivors are supposed to do, set up camp on giant piles of rubble? How could believers sympathize with a nation conducting this terrorism and slaughter?War is a terrible and horrifc thing. However if one must unleash the dogs of war- the object is to kill people and break things more of the enemy to get them to surrender. Hamas as long as they breathe will not stop calling for the genocide of innocent Jews.
Yet we hear tales of small children shot and families and medical staff and etc etc etc. The time is long past to buy the propaganda that Israel has conducted itself in a godly way. Do not compare anything God did in the far past when Israel was His believing people with today, period. Today the unbelievers are not just surrounding nations or peoples but the nation of Israel itself. They have no special treatment from God, other than to allow them to go through the tribulation to finally repent. There's a lot of anti-Israel propoganda regarding the Israel-Gaza war. Isreal actually goes out of its way to minimize civilian casualties, often to their detriment. HAMAS, on the other hand, actively targets civilians. They'll even use their own people as human shields. But the notion of putting civilians first in a war really only started in the latter part of the 19th century. For much of human history, protecting civilians was not a priority in war, and most often they were the targets. Even in the Old Testament, God told the Israelites to kill everything that breathed but for good reason. If they weren't wiped out completely, their descendants would one day get stronger and defeat them. Israel didn't listen, and that's exactly what happened. That's what the Book of Judges is all about. The surrounding nations that weren't completely conquered would oppress them, and God would have to continually send judges (i.e. military leaders) to deliver them. But today, we like gentler, safer wars that only prolong the conflict and end up killing more people.
This is before the nation repents.Zechariah 13:8
In the whole land," declares the Lord , "two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it.
Zechariah 13:9
This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,' and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.'"
There is no question when this is talking about. Verse one states it clearly "On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.
Once again, your pattern of false statements was exhibited here. Work on that.
That is the point, they have to go through great trouble before they finally repent. Looking at the crimes they do now in Palestine it makes sense as to why God allows it. So all Israel does get saved but by that time two thirds of them are already dead. So it does not mean the Pharisees of old and all unbelieving Jews get saved. It means survivors in the end all get saved. This is before the nation repents.
Hebrew11 says all Israel will be saved.
And all israel will be saved.
I have not been proven wrong,
But you better check your attitude at the door..
THEY WERE ATTACKED.That is the point, they have to go through great trouble before they finally repent. Looking at the crimes they do now in Palestine it makes sense as to why God allows it. If you were attacked on a New York street, does that give you the right to nuke Queens? No. You look for the criminals, rather than mass murder a neighborhood. In addition, if you were a racial minority that lived in an almost exclusively hostile and different racial neighborhood that was actually dangerous, one might consider moving-or at least getting along with neighbors. Killing their children and cutting their power etc might not sit well with them.THEY WERE ATTACKED.
The US is attacked by cartels. If the United states was attacked by Mexico. And the people of mexico paraded in the streets because of all the american woman and children who were raped and murdered.
You don't get to focus on a co conspirator nation as some excuse for crimes Israel commits. Then I would expect the US to put them out.. The civilians are not innocent.. If they did not agree with what their leaders did. they could have gotten out
Yeah, to Israel wannabees trying to steal Israel's identity because they're jealous and HATE filled for Israel. That happens only after the one third left alive get saved. Totally out of context to try and apply that to Israel today.
The God they reject. The God who is not with them now and won't be until they repent and believe. He has zero to do with the genocide and terrorism on Palestinians and will step in I believe.Bingo was for your comment "The God of Israel".
Nothing about survivors all getting saved one day in Israel has anything to do with hating anyone. Nor stealing identities!Yeah, to Israel wannabees trying to steal Israel's identity because they're jealous and HATE filled for Israel.
Explain 1967. God fought for Israel BIG TIME! And they recovered Jerusalem! The God they reject. The God who is not with them now and won't be until they repent and believe. He has zero to do with the genocide and terrorism on Palestinians and will step in I believe.

Your genuine compassion is far removed from what the other posts. Your compassion encompasses all involved. Theirs do not.I do hope that just because someone has compassion on the Palestinians you don’t automatically presume other things about them . I to have compassion on them, a deep heart felt sadness for all those caught up in this war. I don’t hate God just because I see some wrong in the actions of Israel.

You don't hate Israel but you constantly attack Israel.Nothing about survivors all getting saved one day in Israel has anything to do with hating anyone. Nor stealing identities!
sorry,, One person being attacked is not the same as a nation. If you were attacked on a New York street, does that give you the right to nuke Queens?
