We may not understand all the how’s and why’s of God, but we can depend on His grace in our life. This is what Paul describes when he writes, “We have depended on God’s grace, not on our own human wisdom” 2 Corinthians 1

We may feel the grace we have is just not enough. We may still feel such a heavy burden, and yet we have this promise from Scripture: “To each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it”
The grace we have is the grace we need. God didn’t give more to someone else and shortchange us. He gives each of us what we need. So rather than dwelling on our own insufficiency, dwell on His sufficient grace.
Our skill, energy, mindset, or ability may not be enough. That’s okay though. God’s grace is sufficient.

We call on the Lord to carry us as you carry our burden.
Ask God to hold us up as we hold up one another.
In our weakness, His strength will is made perfect.
We will never know how sufficient His grace is if we don’t stop and tap into it.

One day John Wesley was walking with a very troubled man who expressed his doubt in the goodness of God. The man said- " I just don't know what I shall do with all this worry.."
Wesley saw a cow in a field looking over a stone wall.
Wesley said.."Do you know why that cow is looking over the wall?"
"No said the worried man, I don't."
Wesley said.."The cow is looking over the wall because she cannot look through it. And that is just what you must do with your wall of worry, look over it and above it, as she is."

Faith enables us to get above our circumstances and look at Christ, who is over all things!

" Looking unto Jesus..."

Awesome! We will rise above our circumstances! Must keep our eyes on Him. :)

God, grant me the wisdom to trust You with what I don’t understand.
Grant me the patience to wait on You, not just answers from You.
Grant me the grace to be content in the midst of unanswered questions and unfulfilled dreams.
Help me look to You not just for answers, but as the Ultimate Answer.
You are my answer and I trust You.
Amen.

"Though He slay me..." Even when He is silent, His ways are always higher and ways better than ours...every time! Praise Jesus our King of Kings!!

God’s love for us is deeper than our shame could ever be. It is higher than our hopes, and wider than the chasm of fear that may sometimes leave a big, lonely place in our soul.
Whatever we fear, we lay it down at the cross.
Let it fade under the shadow of God’s love for us.
Let His voice of love be the loudest one you hear ever hour.
No one will ever love us more or better than God.

Beautiful. This reminds me of one of my favorite songs titled FIRST by Lauren Daigle...love the lyrics!:

Let's face it. Battlefields are all around us. It often feels like right in the middle of a happy day, we are called to the front lines, fighting for our joy, and standing in faith against the enemy. And, when that happens, you and I need a weapon.

We can be tempted to reach for a variety of weapons. But there is only one that we need.....and it is the same weapon with which Jesus faced His enemy.

"It is written".

Yes, amen.
Psa 44:6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
Psa 44:7 But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.

Psa 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Psa 20:8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

We are called to be an overcomer! Live like one today!
Because of Jesus, we are a victor. We are not a victim of our weakness, temptation, or what has happened to us.
The enemy of our soul has had his way for too long, but we don’t have to settle for that any longer. “Submit yourselves, then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

Submit yourself, your fears, your past, your weakness, your stuff....lay it down before the Lord. Now, draw near to Him, He is drawing near to you.

Through God's strength, we can resist the devil, because he’s our real enemy. When we do, he must flee.
Let's stand on grace today, armour up, and be sons of God, victorious in Him.

Yes!!! We Christians need to know who we are in Christ, either we believe what He say's about us or not. The evil one will always try to steal that truth...and,lemme tell you, I allowed that evil one to just grab onto the opening I left unguarded. How quickly it can happen too.
If I had to sum up my growth in one word, it would be submission for sure!

To trust in spite of the look of being forsaken; to keep crying out into the vast, whence comes no returning voice, and where seems no hearing; to see the machinery of the world pauselessly grinding on as if self-moved, caring for no life, nor shifting a hair-breadth for all entreaty, and yet believe that God is awake and utterly loving; to desire nothing but what comes meant for us from His hand; to wait patiently, ready to die of hunger, fearing only lest faith should fail--such is the victory that overcometh the world, such is faith indeed.

This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

It is easy to love Him when the blue is in the sky,
When summer winds are blowing, and we smell the roses nigh;
There is little effort needed to obey His precious will
When it leads through flower-decked valley, or over sun-kissed hill.
It is when the rain is falling, or the mist hangs in the air,
When the road is dark and rugged, and the wind no longer fair,
When the rosy dawn has settled in a shadowland of gray,
That we find it hard to trust Him, and are slower to obey.
It is easy to trust Him when the singing birds have come,
And their canticles are echoed in our heart and in our home;
But 'tis when we miss the music, and the days are dull and drear,
That we need a faith triumphant over every doubt and fear.
And our blessed Lord will give it; what we lack He will supply;
Let us ask in faith believing--on His promises rely;
He will ever be our Leader, whether smooth or rough the way,
And will prove Himself sufficient for the needs of every day.

Anon.

Well, he sure put that well! lol...very nice.
Makes me think of the chorus to a song I LOVE:
When You don't move the mountains I'm needing You to move
When You don't part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You don't give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!

May you feel the strength of God today when you need it most.

May you hear the voice of Truth today if unkind voices get too loud.

May you see God's gifts around you when you think you're missing out.

May you "taste and see that the Lord is good" !

Courage and confidence are not the same things. Confidence is a feeling; courage is a choice. Sometimes we wait for feelings of confidence to rise up within us before we exercise courage.

But, you can act with courage even if you don’t feel confident because the Lord is with you. His presence can make you brave.

So, if we're a little shaky and think we need confidence to do the next hard thing or the next right thing, ask God for courage instead!
God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and sound mind"

Sometimes it can be really hard to love others like God loves them.
Complicated relationships, past history, hurt feelings, and even our own selfishness can make it difficult.
But, it isn’t impossible. When we walk fully in God’s love, we are able to love others out of the abundance of God’s love that is in us.

Hope whispers when the world shouts.
It sits with you when you are alone.
It is a blanket of comfort when you are afraid. It is the warmth that burns with the flame of truth.
It is the foundation upon which your life can rest securely.
Hope will ground you, anchor you, and make you unshakeable.

Heb 6:19
"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil.."
