The Bible states church women are to be instructed by their husbands.
Right.
Lets go back to the verse that states that.

1 Corinthians 14:34-35
King James Version

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

This is not a church, this is a forum. So I won't be silent.

You are not able to be silent because of who you are. I understand.

Well maybe once you've gotten to actually know me, you will understand better. Id rather be friendly and polite.

But this a public forum. And I have the right to post.
Being friendly and polite neither provide eternal life, nor demonstrate Discipleship.

Changing a question in order to speak a different answer is proof of manipulation for self centered reasons.

So what do you say demonstrates discipleship?

I say what Scripture says. God opposes the proud who promote their own concepts, their own opinions, and claim "rights."

Even if they are named Jack.

In fact, trying to make Jesus Lord of one's life has nothing to do with eternal salvation.
The title of this thread as well as this remark indicate some serious confusion about salvation. So what exactly is your point? Where do you find this in the Bible? "Trust and Faith in Christ can occur only when one is broken in sin before God."

According to the New Testament it is the preaching of the Gospel that generates faith and trust in Christ (Rom 10:17).

The mishmash of intuitive posts in this thread shows serious foolishness. How may I help your participation?

No Scripture says God has given any individual to the Son before they personally decide to receive Jesus as Savior.

In fact, trying to make Jesus Lord of one's life has nothing to do with eternal salvation.

<<<No Scripture says God has given any individual to the Son before they personally decide to receive Jesus as Savior.>>>

Perhaps. But how can one personally decide to receive Jesus as Savior, unless God first works in and on him? Can he come to Jesus Christ unless unless the Father draws him? Jesus said no one can.

<<<In fact, trying to make Jesus Lord of one's life has nothing to do with eternal salvation.>>>

Well, as for me and my house, we don’t try doing that one. Because He is the Lord and is our Lord. And He is the Savior and is our Savior. Not trying but living it out.

No Scripture shows God drawing any individual to Him, only that He draws the Church into its inheritance. Decision for life in Christ is entirely at the choice of the individual. The exceptions are Prophets who were filled in the womb with the Holy Spirit

Yes I do. He helped me go to the Scriptures and rethink my former position on salvation.

God is good. I believe the thief on the cross went to Heaven because he believed in Jesus Christ.

That being said, a life of commitment to Christ is the fruit of true belief for those who have days left after their salvation. We shouldn't discourage people from the Scriptures that call for the fruit of obedience.

Matthew 7:21
King James Version

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Philippians 2:12
King James Version

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Romans 6:16
King James Version

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Amen! Obedience follows salvation

There’s scriptures that speaks something about that. Jesus said “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44).

Let's see what the Bible says about this:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." - Matt. 7:21

"So He said to him, 'Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.'" - Matt. 19:17

“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned." - Jhn 15:6

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." - 1 Cor. 15:58

"if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister." - Col. 1:23

"For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end," - Heb. 3:4
Amen! Obedience follows salvation
Wrong. Salvation is the reward for being obedient. It is not something that is given at the beginning of a Christian's journey.

I'm starting to think that the Board hires people to come in and mess with us in order to shape us up.
Or to see if anyone's paying attention.
It may well be God Himself so as to as you put it, 'shape us up'!

Give God the glory!
