Interesting.
Well, we are quite predictable creators.....perhaps he just predicts what we are thinking because he is so familiar with our race
Yes we can be predictable. Is it such a far stretch to consider since we are of one body under the submission of one head which is Christ ...that Satan would also be head of a body?
Daniel 2:31-35
[31] Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. [32] This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, [33] His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. [34] Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. [35] Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
What did Paul’s thorn in the flesh do? (A messenger of satan) ...so that Paul would not be exalted above measure. It served a purpose. And also when Paul said to put the man sleeping with his fathers wife outside of the body, to turn him over to satan that the flesh might be destroyed and the spirit saved on the day of judgement. The hedge removed from Job’s life??? What about when I am weak (in flesh) I am strong (in the spirit)? Scripture says we enter into the kingdom through much suffering.
Job 36:15
[15] He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and
openeth their ears in oppression.
Isaiah 54:16-17
[16] Behold, I have created the smith that
bloweth the coals in the
fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. [17] No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord , and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord .
“No weapon formed against you will prosper.” ...who formed the weapon? My enemies are a part of the breaking of the bondage of flesh around my neck. They, my enemies, have a part in my entering in through the narrow gate. I get to know God because of them. Every son He (the Father) receives He scourges. Hebrews 12:6-7 [6] For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. [7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Why? To bring forth an instrument for his work by the destruction of the flesh(by fire). “This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord , and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”
Ezekiel 10:2-4
[2] And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight. [3] Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court. [4] Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory.
