Hello all,Since 9/11, God's people, "the Remnant", have sensed "a change in times". Those that do not fear God, have not. Life goes on as usual for them. But for me and others, I sense great and terrible things are coming upon America. With the coming economic collapse, a new President who is a "stranger" and not a natural born citizen, the rampant corruption in our U.S. and State Governments, an increase in gun sales across the country as they anticipate the loss of 2nd Amendment rights, increase in crime, loss of jobs, the new socialist agenda, etc., I think most us here see that something BIG is about to happen to America. Couple that with our leaders like George Herbert Bush's "New World Order" and other leaders who have used this phrase, like Nancy Pelosi, and I feel that something very dark is coming to America. This site and link is great for laying out end time prophecies for America. Some of you may be familiar with some of the people who have given commentaries here. You may or may not agree, but it's interesting to read, nonetheless.http://www.historicist.com/america/index.htmWhat else is interesting is this "Coming War" was also given in a vision to George Washington. Many here have probably read "George Washington's Vision for America" which is on file at the Library of Congress. For those who have not, here is a link: http://www.ushistory.org/ValleyForge/washington/vision.htmlOf particular interest, is Washington's "Third Peril" where he sees America on the verge of war again. The first Peril was the American Revolution, the 2nd Peril was the Civil War of 1861-1865.But of course, this is not the end. Washington sees a 3rd War, and a great black cloud covering America. People rise up in arms, then "A Great Light" pierces the cloud of darkness over our land from heaven and the cloud of darkness recedes and the cities and towns are rebuilt.Mystery Babylon, aka, the NWO, that religious, political, and economical stronghold of the world today over our world leaders is about to collapse. The Book of Revelation, chapter 18, tells us what happens to Mystery Babylon. It is thrown down with violence! And all the kings and merchants of the earth shall weep at the smoke of her burning, as no one buys her merchandise anymore. "For in one hour has thy judgment come". With much study, I have concluded that "one hour" is a prophetic hour of 15 years." IF, 9/11 was the beginning, then that would mean there are 8 years left before the total collapse of Mystery Babylon, or the NWO. The World Trade Center, as most of know, represents the "economic stronghold" of the Babylonian economic system we have in our world today. The Muslims knew this and that's why they picked the Trade Towers to attack.I've have never seen such economic turmoil in the world. During the Great Depression, the Stock Market fell 33% and there was about 30% unemployment. Today, our Stock Market is down 45% and layoffs are already as high as 15% in some parts of the country, especially where I live here in Michigan. Remember, the unemployment rate is an "average". That means some places are higher and some places are lower. It also doesn't register those who's unemployment benefits have run out.America is headed for "dark days". As Jesus told his disciples in Matthew, Chapter 24, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven."We have been in "tribulation" for the last 2000 years beginning with the martyrdom of 60 million Christians at the hands of the Romans and later the Roman Church during the Inquisitions. We have seen great plagues, the Black Death wiped out one third of Europe's population. We have seen great wars, the latest being World Wars I & II and the death of another 60 million people and many smaller wars to follow including the dropping of the Atom bombs on Japan. It is estimated that in the last 2000 years, close to 18 BILLION people have been killed due to these things. Never in history has such a thing happened since the Great Flood. If this is not tribulation, I don't know what is.We are now living in the time of the Apostasy or "falling away" of the Church. Millions of Christians, Evangelicals and Catholics now follow the False Prophet and the Beast. And there are but a remnant of true followers of Christ left. We are in great darkness.Satan has been loosed and the nations are deceived!"The Sun, the Moon, and Stars (Jacob/Israel) no longer shed their light on the world. They are hated and despised by the world and even by those others who call themselves Christian. This is what I see happening. I know I'm not alone. But I'm interested in what others here have to say as well. What are your thoughts on this? And I'll be happy to follow up with Bible passages, but the links do give some very good ones. But I will reinforce that I believe America is the "New JerUSAlem", and not Mystery Babylon. Mystery Babylon has power over us right now, be we are NOT, as the remnant, going to suffer her plagues because we've "come out of her".Kim

Talking about the "New World Order," I am wondering if you have seen and heard the ads on bill-boards, etc. on Common PurposeIn the last few years it has been used not as a verb but as a noun. The main web site is: http://www.commonpurpose.org.uk/home.aspx.To find out the real purpose of Common Purpose check out: Common Purpose N.W.O Fifth Column Brian Gerrish, it is the first part of a 9 part series. I frequent a website of multiple religions and no one there but a few Christians can see the coming of Christ getting ever closer. We have tried to shre with them the end times prophecies and they do not read them to mean the same, which actually is not surprising. Even prophecies that have been fulfilled, they ignore and even say they have had visions that come true.

Thanks for sharing that, Kim. Yes, I am vaguely familiar with George Washington's Vision and knew about it for a year or so. I'm not sure what to make of it, although the part of that vision you quoted above reminds me of the promise that David's throne will exist as long as there is a sun and moon. Likewise, we as the seed of Israel will always exist, but chastised in the Tribulation before "being saved out of it" (c.f. Jeremiah 30:7)However, I want to state a scary thought. Most of us believe the time of the end is nigh. I think we subconsciously believe that whatever bad from here on will come, we will somehow escape with divine protection because then Christ will come back. However, I'm sure that when the Revolutionary War, the Civil war and world wars were going on each generation living then thought it was the end times, but yet there was an age after it.Perhaps the last vision is merely a big war, or something like Ezekiel 38, but not quite the end. What the vision does state is that after that time, the USA will continue as long as the astronomical bodies exist (as in the Davidic Throne). The time between the last war and the "forever" part is an unspecified time. However, most assume this last war is the end of days since world war will prevail at the Second Coming of Christ as opposed to a peaceful state which the vision seems to end with.Whatever the interpretation, I love George Washington---- have a picture of him hanging on my wall here at home.

It's not exactly Christ's birthday, I believe He was conceived in His mother's womb by the Holy Ghost on that day.

While as I personally agree that our Lord was not born on December 25th and believe it was taken from a pagan holiday, I am the first to defend that right to celebrate it as an American citizen where the politically correct world does not want one to say "Merry Christmas" any longer. Even though it is not Christ's Day, the world sees it that way and takes every opportunity to take Christianity out of the public arena but if one tries to do that on another religion the irony is that it's labeled as discrimination. What I am saying is, as an American, I may humorously join the crowd that displays the bumper sticker "We say Merry Christmas" but in fact teach Christian people the holiday's pagan origin. The best of both worlds.

Hi Robin,Yes, I've found many Christians are in a state of "denial" right now. What we tell them frightens them. I work for a Christian company and even they do not want to hear these things even though my company publishes hundreds of books on end time prophecy. They do not want to face that very hard times are coming. So many do nothing to prepare like the 5 Foolish Virgins in Jesus's parable who didn't get oil for their lamps. Yes, God is going to see us through this, but that doesn't mean we go to sleep and ignore the signs. Remember, the Christians in history before us, the martyrs, etc., went through trials and tribulation. We are no more special than them. Our faith will also be tested.I often ask Christians, "are you strong in your faith"? Of course, they say, "Yes!" Then I ask them, "are you willing to die for what you believe?" Then they hang their heads, "I see your point. We all want to escape tribulation".If our Christian ancestors did not escape trials and tribulations neither will we because we are no more special than them.Kim

Well, that depends. If America IS the New Jer-USA-lem, then it will also become the "Stone Kingdom" that the prophet Daniel spoke of—the kingdom led by our Lord Jesus Christ, "the STONE which the builders rejected". The link I provided in my original post will explain these things. And that kingdom shall dash the other kingdoms of the world in pieces. How do we know it's U.S.?1 Corinthians 15:24-26 "Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."In the book of Revelation, chapter 12,"The Woman", who is Israel, fled into the wilderness and was planted by great waters, carried on the wings of Great Eagle. There she shall be moved no more. We have no where else to go, but to stay and fight.WE are the ones who have kept the Commandments of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ, although our leaders and many people have departed from God, the remnant is still there. It is in this very land that Jesus will return to, the NEW Jer-USA-lem, which is NOT the "old" Jerusalem. The "old" Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70AD never to rise again as a world power. The Temple was destroyed. The ritual daily and annual sacrifices ceased because Jesus became that ultimate "Lamb of God" for the sacrifice. IT is finished. The Apostle Paul wrote that "we are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit resides within us." So, where ever God's people are gathered together, "there I am in the midst". The majority of God's people are in the USA, although, many of our brothers and sisters remain in the UK, Australia, South Africa and the Scandinavian countries. This is the land where Israel and Judah were gathered together out of many nations, and have appointed themselves "one head".THIS is where the final "battle" will take place.Israel is referred to by the prophets as "God's battle axe". How do we know this?Jeremiah 51:20 "Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers."So, NOTE, Israel is the one "who breaks in pieces the nations".So, the USA will NOT cease to be a nation, but will transform into the Stone Kingdom of God.Kim

yes this is happening, the money system is getting into place for the 1 order.the usa will go to war and loose its wings, never to get back its power again.the eu will have to take control so that russia and china does not, on its own.the vatican wants back into the holy land [as before in the crusades]yes most people ans christian do not want to hear the truth[two many people with the truth lol] we will go into great troubles.and if you do not prepare for yourselfs then prepare for your children[to avoid the mark what ever that might be]...last spring i remember saying this fall would be great change .this change is happening..by the way the sda is in denial of truths and keep the pagan tradition of xmas and easter.these are community addictions to enslave your children and take your money and giving a faulse sence that christ has anything to do with it[this is a truth i bet you are prepared to deny and continue even when you know that]..so we all are in the sins of this world.and gods rath will come to us all .but we will be with god forever when this thing called evil is done away with.Yes, I've found many Christians are in a state of "denial" right now. So many do nothing to prepare like the 5 Foolish Virgins in Jesus's parable who didn't get oil for their lamps. THIS IS SO TRUE,I PRAY FOR USIf our Christian ancestors did not escape trials and tribulations neither will we because we are no more special than them.THIS IS SO TRUEKim
TKU

http://www.prisonplanet.com/celente-predic...ns-by-2012.htmlCelente Predicts Revolution, Food Riots, Tax Rebellions By 2012Trend forecaster, renowned for being accurate in the past, says that America will cease to be a developed nation within 4 years, crisis will be “worse than the great depression”Paul Joseph WatsonPrison Planet.comThursday, November 13, 2008The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.Gerald Celente, the CEO of Trends Research Institute, is renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events, which will send a chill down your spine considering what he told Fox News this week.Celente says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46MEqEgdLTg...ns-by-2012.htmlCelente, who successfully predicted the 1997 Asian Currency Crisis, the subprime mortgage collapse and the massive devaluation of the U.S. dollar, told UPI in November last year that the following year would be known as “The Panic of 2008,” adding that “giants (would) tumble to their deaths,” which is exactly what we have witnessed with the collapse of Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and others. He also said that the dollar would eventually be devalued by as much as 90 per cent. The consequence of what we have seen unfold this year would lead to a lowering in living standards, Celente predicted a year ago, which is also being borne out by plummeting retail sales figures. The prospect of revolution was a concept echoed by a British Ministry of Defence report last year, which predicted that within 30 years, the growing gap between the super rich and the middle class, along with an urban underclass threatening social order would mean, “The world’s middle classes might unite, using access to knowledge, resources and skills to shape transnational processes in their own class interest,” and that, “The middle classes could become a revolutionary class.”In a separate recent interview, Celente went further on the subject of revolution in America.“There will be a revolution in this country,” he said. “It’s not going to come yet, but it’s going to come down the line and we’re going to see a third party and this was the catalyst for it: the takeover of Washington, D. C., in broad daylight by Wall Street in this bloodless coup. And it will happen as conditions continue to worsen.”“The first thing to do is organize with tax revolts. That’s going to be the big one because people can’t afford to pay more school tax, property tax, any kind of tax. You’re going to start seeing those kinds of protests start to develop.”“It’s going to be very bleak. Very sad. And there is going to be a lot of homeless, the likes of which we have never seen before. Tent cities are already sprouting up around the country and we’re going to see many more.”“We’re going to start seeing huge areas of vacant real estate and squatters living in them as well. It’s going to be a picture the likes of which Americans are not going to be used to. It’s going to come as a shock and with it, there’s going to be a lot of crime. And the crime is going to be a lot worse than it was before because in the last 1929 Depression, people’s minds weren’t wrecked on all these modern drugs – over-the-counter drugs, or crystal meth or whatever it might be. So, you have a huge underclass of very desperate people with their minds chemically blown beyond anybody’s comprehension.”The George Washington blog has compiled a list of quotes attesting to Celente’s accuracy as a trend forecaster.“When CNN wants to know about the Top Trends, we ask Gerald Celente.”— CNN Headline News“A network of 25 experts whose range of specialties would rival many university faculties.”— The Economist“Gerald Celente has a knack for getting the zeitgeist right.”— USA Today“There’s not a better trend forecaster than Gerald Celente. The man knows what he’s talking about.”- CNBC“Those who take their predictions seriously … consider the Trends Research Institute.”— The Wall Street Journal“Gerald Celente is always ahead of the curve on trends and uncannily on the mark … he’s one of the most accurate forecasters around.”— The Atlanta Journal-Constitution“Mr. Celente tracks the world’s social, economic and business trends for corporate clients.”— The New York Times“Mr. Celente is a very intelligent guy. We are able to learn about trends from an authority.”— 48 Hours, CBS News“Gerald Celente has a solid track record. He has predicted everything from the 1987 stock market crash and the demise of the Soviet Union to green marketing and corporate downsizing.”— The Detroit News“Gerald Celente forecast the 1987 stock market crash, ‘green marketing,’ and the boom in gourmet coffees.”— Chicago Tribune“The Trends Research Institute is the Standard and Poors of Popular Culture.”— The Los Angeles Times“If Nostradamus were alive today, he’d have a hard time keeping up with Gerald Celente.”— New York PostSo there you have it - hardly a nutjob conspiracy theorist blowhard now is he? The price of not heeding his warnings will be far greater than the cost of preparing for the future now. Storable food and gold are two good places to make a start.------------------Now this is interesting...Kim

Yes, he did, a few years before the destruction of Jerusalem, "when all those in Judea would have to flee to the mountains", with no time to go back. Jerusalem and the Temple was destroyed, the Jews and Israelites fled, or they were made slaves or persecuted. Then came the Martyrdom of the Saints for the next 1000 years, approximately 60-100 MILLION Christians were persecuted, burned at the steak, or fed to the wild animals in the Roman Colliseums. Then came the persecution by the Roman Church during the Inquisitions. We are not in Judea. Neither is the OLD Jerusalem the NEW Jerusalem. The NEW Jerusalem, according to the prophet Zecharia would be inhabited "as towns without walls for multitude of cattle and people therein."We will stand and fight because there is no where else to go. "The WOMAN, Israel, has fled into the Wilderness." We are in the "place where we shall be moved no more." And we will fight just like our Christian ancestors did when that time comes. We are living in the time, "AFTER the tribulation, when the sun, the moon shall be darkened, and the stars no longer shed their light." and "then they shall see the sign of the Son of Man in heaven....."We await the imminent coming of our Lord Jesus and that final battle of Armageddon when "he shall reign till has put down all rule and authority in the earth."That battle is near. And that battle will happen here in America, the New Jer-USA-lem.Kim

Why was Celente making those predictions with that nice, looking woman at a bar?
biggrin.gif
Actually, can't fault him there. That's where I should be hanging out these days. However, I do see what he says as being probable. Years ago Larry Burkett predicted the "Coming Economic earthquake". I didn't 100% agree with him (and he passed away since) but he had some good points. Back then he predicted this taking place in the 90's already. I remember my supervisor where I used to work (when I was more gainfully employed then) in the early 80's saying that there would be a revolution in this nation by 1990. So this is not new. i'm surprised we went this long. Now, about 2012, most people also recognized that as the Mayan "end of the world". Actually, their calendar was cyclical and this year noted a marked changed and a completion of a cycle and the start of another one. But it was astrologically considered major.Rest assured, if the USA ever falls, so will the rest of the world. What about 3rd world nations now? They barely ALREADY cannot feed their people and putting food on the table has always been a priority over gifts. What Celente is saying is that the USA will resort to what many 3rd world nations have already been. So the 3rd world nations will probably die into oblivion.I can see this as being a wide-open door for some Charismatic "one-world" leader taking over and, we know the rest of the Revelation story.

Why was Celente making those predictions with that nice, looking woman at a bar?

Actually, can't fault him there. That's where I should be hanging out these days. However, I do see what he says as being probable. Years ago Larry Burkett predicted the "Coming Economic earthquake". I didn't 100% agree with him (and he passed away since) but he had some good points. Back then he predicted this taking place in the 90's already. LOL! Tim. Yep, Celente was at a bar with a nice looking woman. Trying to impress her, maybe? hee hee.Anyway, yes, I remember the prediction of world-wide famine by 1992 with the coming stock market crash. However, none of us expected the Twin Towers to fall and the Pentagon to be attacked did we?As for 2012, I don't believe that will be a significant date. Just like Y2K, everyone was prepared for something and it didn't happen. HOWEVER, almost a year later, the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were attacked. But maybe another major event shortly after 2012? Who can say?But ever since 9/11 I haven't been the same as before it happened. Everything in my life has become "surreal". Yes, I live my life as best I can in the meantime, what can we do? But always be prepared. We're going to see some more major disasters in our country like Katrina. Heck, Sir Isaac Newton predicted the end of the age around 2058 mathematically. So who knows?Yes, if the world becomes desperate for food and water, where's the first place they're going to go? We have some of the most fertile land in the world and the largest cache of fresh water in the world. Desperate people do desperate things in desperate times.Kim

Yes, I agree completely with what you are saying here. I noticed the same thing, and speaking of 911, I feel that similar experiences (ie surreal at times) also are happening to me. So it isn't "just me" :confused:I made the comment many times over that I've seen a radical change of thinking in say, the last 15 or so years and markedly since 911. Another comment I made is about the Y2K issue. Back when I was testing the computers where I worked, I knew the computers were ready for Y2K. It was people that were not ready for it. I was looking forward to an era of perhaps great technology and achievements all starry-eyed, but the minds of the masses apparently were not ready. Think about it. I hate to sound psychological here, but as kids the year 2000 was the epitome of the future. I often wondered if people thought to themselves, "That's the future. I don't belong here." and subconscious sabotage was taking place in business, in our defense and what not. This starry-eyed guy here got dragged down to their level since I've seen nothing but downhill turns since 2000 getting worse and worse every year. I wish that year 2000 never came now. Not because I wasn't looking forward to it, mind you. So, the moral of the story is that the computers did fine. The people did not and were projecting their fears into the computers. It's analogous to a family's home burning down and the little girl is only worried about her scorched but otherwise intact doll. The child can deal with that more than the big, burned house. And again, people can "fix" computers, but they are not willing to face what they could not fix in themselves.

So how should we prepare? Buy land in a secluded place and leave society? Stock up on candles, can goods, non perishables, extra fuel, generators? Please I am not being sercastic I am really concerned and would like to know. I have had a few of my own visions and it isnt pretty. I do not mind dying for my faith, but should I just lay down my arms and let them kill me or should I defend myself?
