You must be yourself, you will never have the feeling of being completed until you can be yourself. If you are anything else you are no different from an actor who plays a bit part. What is so confining to living out a life not designed for you? What makes it so bad, you are getting along in this world? There is no father, no relation with your father. Your father treats you like the person you were created to be, why would you want to be anything other than your own distinct created being rebirthed to the father.

Knowing your father will be a joy beyond measure because in time you realize he treats you like the son he birthed you to be and recognize's your uniqueness, why not he made it. Your creation comes into play as your father leads you into different understandings. He knows exactly how to handle you based on your personality and your understanding now. Both will go through changes, but the uniqueness of your creation will not.

These things are all based on being in Christ, the only completion there is is found in Christ only. What happens to me, well the real you comes forth, your personality is enhanced if you will, because Christ will over shadow all we are as we see him as our true life, 1 John 5:11-12,

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

you will never have the feeling of being completed until you can be yourself.

There are many reason why people may have to play a part. What ever the reason telling those who have to 'be themselves' is as helpful as telling a schizophrenic to pull themselves together.

What ever our mental or physic wounds we can find healing and wholeness only in Jesus.

Hi @soul man ,

Reminds me of . . .

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Conformed or transformed.

Conformed, from the origin of our word schematic, meaning to be joined together to the same pattern, that is, to be fashioned into something you are not.

One other place it's used, 1 Peter 1:14, "As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:"

Again, conforming yourself into the pattern of something you are not.

Transform, on the other hand, from the root of our word metamorphosis, to actually change into something different.

As obedient children, not conforming to the former lusts, the lusts of the flesh, but instead, transforming, putting on the new man, becoming him, putting on Christ.

And that will be the you that you always wanted!

Much love!

We shouldn’t let our lives be ruled by those negative feelings we may have about ourselves, those negative feelings that hold us back and restrict us in our relationship with god and others. We all need to be free to be ourselves.

So many Christians, women and men, seem to be restricted in some way in our walk with God. Some restrictions were put on us as we were growing up; some we have taken on board for ourselves by trying to be like somebody else, somebody we’re not; and yet others have been placed on us by the churches we belong to.

God doesn’t want us to have these restrictions on our lives to hold us back. He wants us to be completely free to be ourselves in Christ.
