Has anyone seen this going on in Seattle right now? All over the local news here. These 2 racists groups need to go! They are demanding all violent black criminals be released from prison immediately. They want all businesses in this neighborhood to pay taxes to them. This is what the left does to people - destroys their minds.

Antifa Activists Claim First Territory in Seattle
"
Seattle’s hard-Left secessionist movement has claimed its first territory: six blocks in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

For the past week, Black Lives Matter and Antifa-affiliated activists have engaged in a pitched battle with Seattle police officers and National Guard soldiers in the neighborhood, with the heaviest conflict occurring at the intersection of 11th and Pike, where law enforcement had constructed a barricade to defend the Seattle Police East Precinct building. Hoping to break through the barricade, protesters attacked officers with bricks, bottles, rocks, and improvised explosive devices, sending some officers to the hospital. At the same time, activists circulated videos of the conflict and accused the police of brutality, demanding that the city cease using teargas and other anti-riot techniques.

Then, in a stunning turn of events, the City of Seattle made the decision to abandon the East Precinct and surrender the neighborhood to the protesters. “This is an exercise in trust and de-escalation,” explained Chief Carmen Best. Officers and National Guardsmen emptied out the facility, boarded it up, and retreated. Immediately afterward, Black Lives Matter protesters, Antifa black shirts, and armed members of the hard-Left John Brown Gun Club seized control of the neighborhood, moved the barricades into a defensive position, and declared it the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone—even putting up a cardboard sign at the barricades declaring “you are now leaving the USA.”

What an absolute violation of the public trust! The police give in to anarchists! The governer loves it! Insanity! I that God that He is taking care of us!
The police said they had no choice, they are following orders - from? The governor of Wa and the mayor of Seattle have sold their souls to the devil.

I absolutely agree with the sentiments here - enough is enough, and this needs to be dealt with.

However what we are seeing aren't just criminals - I suspect they are both criminals and also in a way victims - the result of a society that has taught them lies from their childhood. Taught them that the truth isn't relative, that they can be whatever they want to be - if they try hard enough they can change the world. As they've grown up through schools, and then the universities fed lies and filth from many lecturers that are hell bent on using them as pawns for their own socialist experiments, the media that has filled their heads with lies and a far left slant, and I could go on. We are seeing a result of the lies and filth that has been allowed to be indoctronated into our kids as they become adults.

In some ways I also consider (in part) the Mayor and other city officials are more to blame than the activists. If you let a kid throw a tantrum and give in - they will continue to throw more and become more uncontrollable.

That in no way excuses the rioters and rebels actions. That does not mean that they should not be dealt with and punished accordingly. But it does help me to look upon them both with frustration and anger, but also compassion at the same time, and as a Christian who has a weakness to be quick to judge and dislike people - I'm trying to look upon my enemies with love. I'll be honest - I struggle, but I'm trying.

I know there is a real risk to me, (and at the risk of projecting my weakness on others - I suspect a risk to many of us as Christians) to allow the enemy to gain more ground in our own personal lives by infiltrating our lives through their wicked deeds by vomiting spiritual unlove, uncare and even hate upon them. Whether that be hate, or fear, or depression, or anxiety, or a combination thereof.

I feel for their victims, the people who's lives have been ruined by their actions. I am angered, and I long for justice. Oh how I long for justice! But I also long for spiritual mercy - there would be no greater outcome that I could think of than for these people to be brought to justice on this world and pay for their actions - but also see the error of their ways, repent and be saved that we could embrace them in heaven, or the new world to come.

Can I please encourage people here to pray for the victims, but also pray for the perpetrators as well - that through this, somehow, God may open the eyes of some that have not had the opportunity to see truth and give them that opportunity.

Please keep us up to date with these events. As I've mentioned - it's places like this I get my news from far more than anywhere else.

The governor is telling people he has no idea what's going on. His cowardice came out during COVID, so am not surprised about this one either.

Sometimes it seems hard to imagine a bluer state than California, but then there's Washington State to show me how that can be done!
All of California has moved here. lol It is really over the top, people moved to Washington to escape California, just to turn it into another one.

I wonder if any of the liberals are at all asking themselves, "what have we done?"

The neighborhood antifa/BLM is occupying is Capitol Hill, it is known for homosexuals living there. The news will report some of these business' are supporting antifa/BLM, but in reality most are closed. Too bad, they were shut down for coronavirus and now (some of their own) are unable to do business again directly because of these terrorists. They don't care though, such a small handful, causing a big scene.

My friends and I, and others our age - up to about 30 have been talking about a civil war for a long time. We are all armed.

The President and Commander-in-Chief should have taken charge of America and all its cities on May 25, 2020. That is almost three weeks ago.

He should have published an Executive Order listing all Radical Leftist and Anarchist groups as DOMESTIC TERRORISTS, subject to arrest, prosecution, and incarceration. He should have deployed the National Guard and/or the military to each and every city and monument, with orders to disband rioters immediately, arrest those who resisted, and maintain law and order under a military-type of control (short of martial law). The police should not have to deal with terrorists. Since this was not done in a timely and forceful manner, the Leftists sensed weakness and took advantage of it. It is still not too late, but if Trump dithers at this point, then all is lost.

That would not turn out as well for Trump, as the media will spin it as Trump being a tyrant who is abusing executive powers. If he calls out the governors who are against law and order and are failing to deploy the national guard, I believe it will work out to his benefit. The fear of anarchy will swing the moderates in a more conservative direction during the elections.

Though he does have the power to act under H.R. 5122
  • Expansion of the President's power to declare martial law under revisions to the Insurrection Act, and take charge of United States National Guard troops without state governor authorization when public order has been lost and the state and its constituted authorities cannot enforce the law (amended in 2008 by H.R.4986 SEC.1068[3]);

Or maybe not, so confusing

H.R.4986 SEC.1068:
Revises federal provisions concerning the use of the Armed Forces in major public emergencies to discontinue the executive authority to deploy active and reserve personnel during domestic response incidents.

Trump will now need to put America above himself. If he loses he loses. But in the meantime the anarchists would be very severely dealt with. And that would restore the country's confidence in the Commander-in-Chief. This is NOT the time to be talking about election rallies. This is the time to properly restore law and order in the USA.

Trump should have actually asked all the police officers in America (about 700,000 according to Statistica) to RALLY IN WASHINGTON, D.C. and to demand the restoration of the rule of law and the Constitution at the Capitol and the Supreme Court. Imagine 700,000 police officers in DC standing strong and prepared to deal with lethal force against any enemies of the police and America. That could turn the tide.

I don't know . . . imagine cities across the US suddenly devoid of their usual police presence. The track record recently hasn't been a big display of self-control!
Well that would be the whole point. If all police officers converged on Washington at the same time, Americans would understand that without their presence in cities and towns crimes and criminality would spike astronomically. And that would be a strong message to the politicians to stop messing with the police. It would also be a strong message to BLM, Antifa, etc, that their nonsense will not be tolerated anymore. And while the police are in DC, they would order the removal of all the slogans on the streets and public property supporting BLM in DC.

In addition to that, the police must put the politicians and Supreme Court on notice that the rule of law has been abandoned in DC, and it must be restored immediately.

It seems a bit extreme, and a violation of the public distrust. It may also be illegal as police can not go on strike in many places. They get around it sometimes in what is called a Blue Flu.

I also don't think Trump should take any illegal actions to restore law and order in these places. It is more important for him not to be a hypocrite like the liberals.
