What percentage do you estimate will choose "the narrow gate"?

Notice the key word..

"WAY"

The "broad way" that leads to destruction is..."Religion". Choose one. Buddhism, Scientology...Paganism, Reincarnation.....

Now look at this verse..

"the narrow Gate". A gate is an ENTRANCE..

And you are entering into God, into Heaven, into the KOG.....

So, there is only one "way"...... John 14:6. Jesus said...I am THE Way....

So who is that "Gate" as He is very narrow, being the Only, as compared to the "broad WAY" that is all other ideas, concepts, false faiths, religions that try to be the "way"., and are not.

I think the "broad way" is doing whatever one likes, regardless of whether or not it is offensive to God and that's what most people do, including me.

I think it was Aquinas who tried to argue that the joy of those in heaven will actually be increased by seeing the suffering of those in hell. It just goes to show that brilliance is not always good or to one's advantage, but by that point the horrendous doctrine was supported by earthly torture. If you didn't toe the line you could get a foretaste of the horrendous doctrine by the rack, the wheel, being drawn and quartered, or simply burned at the stake. But, happily, it was all for the glory of the God who is love. There was nothing amiss in that; it all made good sense.

Are you avoiding the context of the "entering" into Heaven, Eternal Life, the KOG< or do you just not realize it.?

Its a comparison between and end result, whereby one does lead you to heaven, and the other leads you into Hell.

It's never "too late". Souls go into the Lake of Fire for punishment but it's a corrective punishment and the process is temporary.

I dont think i missed it when you were arguing with me about "hell" in many posts .
You recently wrote the cynical Thread that denounces Hell and teaches "universalism".

My position has ALWAYS been that Hell exists and that souls might be sent there and I only say "might" because I have no first-hand evidence of actually seeing anyone sent there. I have only maintained that souls that get sent to Hell stay there only for a period of time, not FOREVER.

I think that you misunderstand the nature of God and his methods for bringing his children to him. It is Satan's LIE that our loving God condemns people to suffer forever.

There is no 2nd Chance in Hell to believe in Jesus that God will accept.
How do you know?
Because everyone who is in Hell right this second, all believe in Jesus ...........right now.

Hell and the Lake of Fire are not some warped "cult of mary" "Origen" inspired pipe dream "purgatory" v2.

If you die never being born again, you'll end up in Hell and that is just the beginning of the eternity that is "damnation" or the "2nd Death"

And if you die, and are not born again, then you will find out that that verse is not a myth.

Jesus was so beaten and whipped before He even went to the Cross, that His ribs were seen.......
He was so beaten before He went to the Cross, that he was unrecognizable.......beard pulled out. Eyes nearly swollen shut.
Broken nose, broken TEETH.
Skin ripped off his back, sides, legs, chest.

He still tried to Carry The CROSS To Pay for YOUR SIN, fella.

THEN they Nailed Him up.... .and once up there...= He had to push off the SPIKE that was driven into both feet, so that he could catch a breath, and then down again., then up, to breath, then down....bleeding, tortured.. for Hours.

See that? That is What God offers to Pay for your sin.

So the judgement for Sin is that EXTREME and the eternal Judgement for not being forgiven, is just as extreme.

That Cross was savage torture, laid on God Son or OUR SIN .!
Hell is not going to be better.

What is the worst part, of Hell?

I think its the KNOWING that you will never get out of this damnation, while you realize that you didn't have to go.

People in Hell are thinking......."OMG OMG< i knew that Jesus was real..........OMG why didnt i believe...........i heard the Gospel ... I knew i was a sinner.......WHY WHY WHY DIDNT I BELIEVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please think about this. Imagine that you're in Heaven and you are reunited with most of your loved ones who passed before you and your enjoying a feast of your favorite dishes. You and your loved ones are all young and healthy again and there are no more bad things, except one. While you're laughing and delighting with your loved ones in Heaven, some of your other loved ones are suffering extreme agony as they are continuously boiled in a cauldron of hot lava and they will NEVER be saved from that experience. They will be tortured like that FOREVER.

Does that sound reasonable, fair, and loving? Jesus always preached forgiveness and mercy so why would he do such a thing?

The only "loved ones" in Heaven, were born again on Earth.
That's the only way to get there.

Jesus said..>"you must be born again".......on EARTH, where the CROSS was offered to you and your "family"
