There is so much need in my small village I would do well to get out past it, let alone the world. My sister is in Perth. Shes home now for my daughters wedding this saturday. Just because you were lied to concerning the scriptures, you shouldn't assume that everyone is in your camp. I for one do not feel that I was taught "badly". I also don't have any problems telling the truth from a lie.
If you have shortcomings in your walk with the Lord, you need to own it and stop trying to pass it off as a problem we all have.

Well for me, a lot of people just need to chill out, I agree with @"ByGrace" about Praise, Worship & definitely prayer as being a personal thing, because that moment is between you and God, it's Jesus's great relationship with you, it's your great friendship with Jesus.

Since you asked, but this is only one of many but my favorite although just about all of them came out of the blue. For once a year or so ago, I was in a vision, 3rd person perspective watching myself lying on some stairs before the throne of God, and there where others there. When He asked one to give me something, now I am the human on the stairs and I turn teh item over. now understand everything looked liek crystal even what I held but I knew what it was, A can of coke, something everyone would recognize. Any way I knew what to say so I Said, No God this is not what I desire, i do not want teh world I just long to know you,.. Any way smiles all around and He gets up and gives one of the men what looked like a cd in a cd case all made of crystal , anyway He said this is your testimony, and when I came out went straight to teh bible and found as what is usually teh case exactly what He was speaking of.
Joh 3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
So He knows me and I Him doesnt come from reading the bible or studying.
The title of this thread, " This section shows how much you love God", sets a wrong tone from the very start. As if I or another believer are in competition as to who loves God more. Or, I can prove I love God more because I do certain things. Seems very shallow.
A certain truth was pointed out to me years ago that I have not forgot. Note these verses.
(John 13:23) "Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved."
(John 20:2) "Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved,..."
(John 21:7) "Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter,..."
(John 21:20) "Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved..."
What was valuable to John was that Jesus loved him. Not how much he loved Jesus. But because John knew the love of Jesus Christ, then he had a real love for Jesus Christ. Peter said he would die for Christ. But, where was he when Christ was crucified. John said Jesus loves me. And where was he when Christ was crucified.
(John 19:26) "When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!"
