Okay, so someone pointed out to me that a poll asking about tattoo impressions on another thread has expired. (I floated a question subsequently about whether another poll would consequently be warranted. I will make sure that the new poll lasts a while, so that ppl won't be getting back to me again soon telling me that it has expired.)
The question is: What is the best age for a first tattoo?
I saw this quote a while ago from the Bible Belt, which seems to indicate that under 40 — especially under 30 — is a widely preferred age.

So I will include a number of options which should accommodate both those who are strongly appreciative of tattoos, and those who are equivocal and those who are strongly hostile to them.
