now that we know without a doubt that God is one person, and one person only. the terms "with", and "beside" eliminates any other second or third person, now lets look at the bible in the true light of the Gospel.... OT and NT.
OT, God is alone and by himself when he created and made all things. we know this from Isaiah 44:24 and various other places in the scriptures. but the key point is in Genesis 1:26 where God used the term for himself as "US", and "OUR".
the question begs to be answered is why did God refere to himself as "us" and "our" in Genesis 1:26 but in the very next verse Genesis 1:27 say, "his", and "he" which are single pronouns which indicate a single person. well that is true, for God is a single person in the first beginning... hold it 101G .... "FIRST" beginning? yes, the First beginning. God in the First beginning, the creation account created and made all things. and God in the LAST beginning has redeemed and is restoring all things.
other words, God in CREATION of this world have a beginning, not of him, but his acts in his creation, Genesis 1:1 and he have an end to this creation beginning at John 1:1 and the NEW creation beginning at Revelation 1:1, which is foretold to come.
so, God at Genesis 1:26 is foretelling of his coming in flesh as a man... his image that he created ..... MAN. so God is the First prophet in the bible. his coming in flesh as the Last Adam, his own Image.
so support this truth, we consult truth, to establish the truth. when God said in Benesis 1:26 "us" and "our", this was prophetic of his coming in natural flesh as a man. supportive truth, God himself who cannot lie, now has come in the natural flesh what he said this about himself. Matthew 19:3 "The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?"
Matthew 19:4 "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,"
two things to note here.
A. God is refered to as "he", a single person. the gospel of mark confirm this. Mark 10:6 "But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female."
B. Notice the term "beginning" in both accounts. the term Beginning OT,
H7225 רֵאשִׁית re'shiyth (ray-sheeth') n-f.
1. the first, in place, time, order or rank.
2. (specifically) a firstfruit.
[from the same as H7218]
KJV: beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing.
Root(s): H7218
and as the Last Adam, 1 Corinthians 15:45 "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit."
here Last means,
G2078 ἔσχατος eschatos (es'-cha-tos) adj.
farthest, final (of place or time).
[a superlative probably from G2192 (in the sense of contiguity)]
KJV: ends of, last, latter end, lowest, uttermost
Root(s): G2192
noticr the terms (of place or time). just like in Genesis 1:1, place and time God is a single person. at John 1:1 the same one person in Genesis 1:1 is now in a "diverse" states as the G243 allos of himself, or as the EQUAL SHARE of himself in flesh, his own image... man, the "ANOTHER of God in flesh.
So God have three dispensation of himself in (time, place and order). "I AM THAT I AM", identifies each dispensation
dispensation #1. "I AM" Spirit, CREATOR, MAKER, title LORD, Father. Genesis 1:1. the Holy Spirit God almighty.
dispensation #2. "THAT" spirit, diversified in flesh and bone, REDEEMER, SAVIOUR, title, Lord, Son, John 1:1 the Holy Spirit God almighty.
dispensation #3. "I AM" Spirit, COMFORTER, MEDIATOR, title, LORD/Lord, Revelation 1:1 the Holy Spirit God almighty.
so God is or was a single person in time and place of the OT, but a diversity in flesh and blood in the NT. not hard at all to understand.
