We understand that the Law and the 10 Commandments are good. They are Holy. They are Pure.

But, because they are Holy, they show us that we are not.... as that is the main purpose of the Law and 10 Commandments.

They are a Spiritual Mirror, a HOLY Mirror that reflect God's Righteousness against us, so that we can SEE OURSELVES, as compared to God.

And that reflection, of US, as compared to GOD........ that is the main purpose of the Law and 10 Commandments, and it is a CURSE to us, as it reveals us as dirty, sinful, fallen, and lost.

The Law and 10 Commandments reveal us as..."ALL HAVE SINNED".

So, now that the Law and Commandments have revealed us as unholy, .. how can we become a part of God's family that is Holy and Righteous?

Simple.. We need God's Righteousness, as ours. We need God's purity as ours., as until we have it, God can't have us, and will not take us.

You can't go to heaven as a sinner with sin, so God has to deal with all your sin, and birth you spiritually as a "NEW Creation" "in Christ'.

See that SIN issue? That is what the LAW and COMMANDMENTS have REVEALED about us, and that is the : "CURSE OF THE LAW".

What is the Solution that deals with and removes that "curse of the Law"...forever ?? ?

A.) God came here as a virgin born man, and died on the Cross for the SIN of the World....., and This shed blood and death of Jesus forgives all our sin forever, and removes the curse of the Law from us..... forever.

This is what Jesus was explaining to you, Reader, when He was Dying on the Cross and said to you...

"It is FINISHED".

What is finished?

1.) The Law has no more power over you to define you as a sinner, ever again.., that "curse" is gone.

2.) God gives you His "GIFT of RIGHTEOUSNESS" so that you have now gained as your own, God's very Righteousness. "Made Righteous".

This is to be "made righteous", as = "The Righteousness of GOD..."in Christ".

All the born again are ..."IN Christ". "Made Righteous" "one with God".

See all that ?

"Christ has redeemed us from the CURSE OF THE LAW", and now the Law can't define us as a sinner, ever again, and that is why the NT defines the born again as a "SAINT"

And the born again have been "made Righteous", having received God's GIFT of RIGHTEOUSNESS"

See that Reader?
If you are born again, you have become that....and that is your : Eternal SALVATION.

You cant earn it... You have to , by faith, RECEIVE what Jesus has accomplished for you on the Cross.

Welcome to : Salvation.

Its a "GIFT" from God through The Cross of Christ.

How do you get this "GIFT"?

"all that believe in Jesus, shall be Saved"
"all that call on the name of Jesus, shall be saved"

Jesus said... "ALL that believe in me....i give unto them Eternal LIFE, and they shall never go to Hell.(perish).

The born again believer is " in Christ"

Where is Jesus?

He is In Heaven. So, that means the born again are THERE ALSO..... "seated in Heavenly Places"...'IN Christ'.

Now, what is not found in Heaven?

Law
10 commandments
Sin

So, if you had sin, you would not be "in Christ" in Heaven.

God had to deal with all your sin, before He could join you to Himself, and He had to create that situation, so that you always remained "Righteous"... "Being NOW made free from sin".

Remember that you mind is where your Thinking lives... your emotions and your will.
This is not the Born again Son/Daughter of God.

Most believers see themselves as their THINKING.,.. but God only sees the born again as "made righteous", "in Christ", "one with God", and there is no sin found there.

Wrong again OH pseudo scholar.

When Jesus cried "tetelestai" He was declaring the price for sin was paid and redemption secured. Jesus fulfilled the law so there is no law anymore.

But to say one who is a blood bought born again chilfd fo God will never sin again or if they do as you have just said in y0ur muddied way is a false gospel Haman.

sincerely:

. Jesus fulfilled the law so there is no law anymore.

"where there is no Law, there is no Sin...Trasgression"

"Christ is the END of the LAW, for Righteousness, to everyone who believes".

The born again.. "are NOT Under the LAW, .. but under Grace".

A.) """" Where there is no LAW.....there is no SIN...no Transgression".

"The born again are not under the Law". = "Where there is no Law, there is no SIN...Transgression".

So when you lie about people on threads, you do not think it is sin????

I guess murder and adu8ltery are not sins either for a born again believer because they are not under the law. That is you rimplication.

When folks don't believe in the process of sanctification by the day to day study & rightly dividing of the word, they deny what Jesus said in " sanctify them by thy truth, thy  word is truth"!

They also deny that we are his workmanship & he has a prepared plan of works set out for us.

They deny we can possibly commit sin & it be counted as unrighteousness to us, therefore denying the need of our advocate in Jesus. They claim we are sinless and have zero accountability to God.

Denying there is a maturing of the word & Spirit that sustains our discipleship which is spiritual growth !

They deny anything beyond salvation is required, then I say they are beyond what help I may offer in the word of God and leave them to the mercies of God !

In the holy inspired plainly written WORD OF GOD , there is the true answer to all the above & more, if any has a desire to receive salvation , apply the word, then walk WITH GOD IN A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP, rather than lip service !

Proverbs 8:17-21 KJV
I love them that love me; And those that seek me early shall find me............

When folks don't believe in the process of sanctification

Eternal Sanctification is based on our Salvation.... that makes us "the righteousness of God".

This.... 1 Corinthians 1:30, as Jesus is our Sanctification, Justification, Redemption, and Eternal life.

Also...., the daily walk of faith, is to grow in Grace., which can be considered a type of discipleship, or the evolution from babe, to Adult, Christian.

There is only one laid out by God.

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Anyone adding to or subtracting from this one and only requirement is preaching a false gospel according to Paul in Galatians 1

Dear behold,
I can agree with most of your statements until you say:
You cant earn it... You have to , by faith, RECEIVE what Jesus has accomplished for you on the Cross.

The gift of the Early Rain is given to those who Christ is calling out from the world. They don't have to ask for it nor do they even have to give their permission to receive it - they are simply given the gift by Christ. Once the person has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, they will also have a measure of faith. Then, when the gospel is presented to them by the foolish of preaching, they will respond with a confession of faith. They can make no other choice.

1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

This is the only way mankind can receive the Holy Spirit because:

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

In this carnally minded condition, no man has the ability to seek out or understand God. They have no faith or ability to accept Christ as their Lord. Christ must come to them and do all the work of changing them spiritually. Only then will they call Jesus "Lord":

Prov 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

No person can make the confession of faith from their supposed "free will". Christ must act first and change them spiritually by giving them the Early Rain. Only then will they they answer the Lord with a confession of faith.

Paul's conversion experience "types" the pathway to salvation. Paul received the Early Rain on the Damascus Road. He was travelling to Damascus to persecute Christians and had ZERO intention of seeking out the Lord and accepting Him as his Savior. But all that changed in an instant when Christ came to Paul suddenly and gave him the Early Rain.

This is the only way mankind can call Jesus Lord. Christ must come to us first without our asking or permission and give us the free gift.

The Early Rain is what calls a person out from the world and is when they become part of the church. However, the Early Rain leaves them spiritually blind (typed by Paul's blindness) and carnally minded (typed by Paul falling to the ground). Because of these weaknesses, Satan will quickly come to the new believer and plant his seed within them, too. His seed is the spirit of anti-Christ. This truth is taught in Mat 12:43-45, Mark 5:2-13 and in the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares. Because the new believer is carnal, they still prefer the Old Wine over the New Wine so they readily accept Satan's "another gospel" which mixes works with faith. When the believer accepts this false gospel, they will commit the sin that leads to death and will lose their salvation. In this "worse than the first" spiritual condition, the fallen away believer will live out the rest of their life and die in their sins OR if they are one of the Elect, Christ will "come again" to them and pour out the Latter Rain.

The Latter Rain is given to a fallen away Elect believer when they ask for the gift of the Spirit:

Luke 11:13 “If you then, being evil (a Man of Sin), know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

For the Elect, Christ will send a converted believer to them in the spirit of Elijah (just as He did for the Jewish Elect). With the fallen away believer's repentance from works, the pathway for Christ to come again will be made straight. Christ will then cause the fallen away believer to pray for the gift of the Holy Spirit (Latter Rain). After they pray, they will begin a time of waiting for their salvation to come, just as the Jewish Elect waited in the upper room and just as Paul says here:

Heb 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

After Christ comes to the fallen away Elect believer, they will be given the Latter Rain and be "born again". Immediately after the new birth, the believer will sup with Christ and receive their spiritual nourishment of truth. After they have received sufficient truth, the Day of the Lord will fall on the believer to remove the spirit of anti-Christ and the Great Harlot (worsen carnal nature) from within them. After this judgment, the believer will be converted and will never fall away again.

This is the pathway to salvation that is taught over and over again in scripture, usually "a little here and a little there".

Paul received the Latter Rain after being in Damascus for three days (a spiritual process) where he remained blind and unable to eat or drink the truth of Christ. But after his 3 Days were complete, Paul prayed and the pathway was made straight (Paul lived on Straight Street) for Christ (Ananias) to come to him with the Latter Rain. Immediately the scales fell off of Paul's eyes and he was baptized (Latter Rain). He was then told to eat meat (Lord's Supper). Paul's life was turned upside down. This is how it is for all of Christ's Elect when they are converted. It is a paradigm changing event that takes a believer from being carnal to being spiritual. This is our salvation.

Does this make any sense to you?

Joe

There is only one laid out by God.

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

So 1 Jn 5:3 being plural was a typing error sir? I don't think so Ron. Do you consider Heb 10:24 and 25 to be a commandment as well or just a suggestion sir? How many other commandments can you think of?

So the honest question is, what does it actually mean to believeth on Jesus sir, do you not feel those of Mat 7:21 had an extraordinary belief in him, yet what did Jesus say was lacking in them?

You may call me Ron. we are not formal here.

Reread 1 John 5. it doesn't say salvation, it says love. We prove our love by obedience.

We obey because we are saved (not JW's who deny the physical resurrection) We do good works because we are saved- not to get saved or maintain our salvation. That is Scripture. You are confusing works with salvation and Paul made it clear we are saved by grace through faith and without works.

Eph 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Unchecked Copy Box
Eph 2:9
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

And saved here is the perfect passive participle. Which means the following:

Perfect- done in the past and continues on in the present and future
Passive- the action is performed on the person by someone else (Jesus saves)
Participle- in this passage would be "we have been SAVED, ARE BEING SAVED AND WILL BE SAVED" BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH WITHOUT WORKS!

True, but Mat 7:21 was about it. A commandment is simply that Ron, not negotiable with God.
We obey because we are saved
I obey because I love God, you do not have salvation yet sir, but if you want to believe that so be it. I will add that I hope you are correct, but don't see it Scripturally, only time will tell.

Yes I do have slavation Robert! teh bible says I am a new Creature and have been given eternal life- not temporary eternal life , or probationary eternal life- but eternal life now.

Yo0u believe what you do for fear of going against your masters in the Watchtower. but if you did a linguistic study of the bible, you would find out that salvation is the present and future tenses- which means I have it now and will continue to have it forever!

That is Gods Word versus the man made doctrines of that phony "faithful and discreet slave class" that is leading so many people down the wide path of destruction.

I am convinced you are a most pleasant fellow and in zeal and an attempt to show love ofr God do many works in Yahwehs name, but because you reject the physical resurrection of Jesus for your justification, if you die with that rejection,, you also will be rejected because you chose the teaching of men in stead of the Word of God.

I would say the purpose of the Law is to show us behaviors that get us into trouble, so we can stay out of trouble. For example, if I rob a bank, chances are I'll go to prison for a long time. Therefore, the Lord warned us not to steal.

If we rob a bank, we'll probably go to prison for a long time. Jesus told us not to steal. That's good advice, isn't it?
