I will just say that I disagree with you whole heartedly. I enjoy a good conspiracy theory but I consider them along the lines of stories told around the campfire. I do not debate conspiracy theorists because it is like debating with Jell-0.

Then we shall agree to disagree. We can take up with our disagreements on these subjects on other threads after the election.

Anarchists are merely left libertarians. To me, there's little difference between anarcho-syndicalists and right libertarians when it comes to economics. They both want less government. They both burn and destroy in their own ways.

George Soros as archetype of evil is unconvincing.

I never said this about Soros. I was showing that since BLM has received substantial funding from him, they must be organized and influential enough in his estimation to throw big bucks their way.

But since you brought it up, maybe it's time to talk a little bit about his nefarious agenda.

George Soros, 89, is still on a quest to destroy America

By Cheryl K. Chumley - The Washington Times - Saturday, January 25, 2020
ANALYSIS/OPINION:

George Soros is 89 years old, but by gosh, before he dies, he’s going to see to the internal destruction of America.

At least that’s how it seems.

How else can we listen to his words in Davos, Switzerland, track his funding of American political races and pay attention to what he says about President Donald Trump, capitalism, and the leftist causes he backs and the leftist Open Society Foundations he runs, and come to any other conclusion?

In the last few years, Soros has taken to trying to take over local law enforcement agencies by pumping massive amounts of money into candidates he favors in key district attorney races.

“George Soros’ quiet overhaul of the US justice system,” Politico reported, way back in August of 2016.

It continues in present day.

“PAC funded by George Soros pumps nearly $1 million into local races for prosecutor,” The Washington Post reported in June, about the money from the Justice and Public Safety PAC that went to the left-leaners of both Arlington County, Virginia, and Fairfax County, Virginia, commonwealth’s attorney races.’

“Soros Adds Intrigue and $800,000 to D.A. Race, Backing Progressive,” The New York Times reported in November.

The district attorney’s office is one of the first local lines of defense of the Constitution and the rule of law. That means the potential for immediate progressive impact is huge — and it’s an impact that can be had without all that costly political fighting over, say, a senator’s seat, or a Supreme Court slot.

Buying D.A. seats gives you good bang for the buck, in other words. And oftentimes, quietly, unbeknownst to those who might oppose.

That doesn’t mean Soros isn’t busily buying into congressional races, too. or the media. Or — and this, particularly in recent months — the grassroots.

Democracy Alliance, a nonprofit founded in 2005 to advance a progressive vision throughout America, and funded by wealthy elites, recently shifted its charitable giving strategy from think tanks in high-powered Washington, D.C., to small, mostly unknown groups in various communities. Why?

Call it — once again — under-the-radar influence.

Politico in 2018 described the process: “Kevin Rodriguez, a 19-year-old aspiring singer in tight jeans and gray-and-white Nike high tops, had never heard of the powerful progressive donor group Democracy Alliance. But he is a key part of the secretive billionaire club’s plot to flip the Sun Belt. The donor clique, which counts George Soros and Tom Steyer among its members, is quietly giving funds to a handful of local grassroots groups like Rodriguez’s employer, Living United for Change in Arizona.”

It’s a strategy aimed at quietly taking down President Donald Trump, one “new voter in rapidly diversifying states across the southern U.S.” at a time, as Politico wrote.

It’s a strategy that skirts the enemy’s knowledge, and therefore, oftentimes, the enemy’s win.

And it’s a strategy that takes full advantage of dark money-type donations that are difficult to track and even more difficult to thwart.

It’s one thing for Soros to take his hatred of this president and his disdain for free market America to the public stage — as he just did in Davos, when he criticized Trump as a “con man” whose “narcissism” has turned “into a malignant disease,” as CNBC reported.

It’s another for Soros to slide, on the sly, his anti-American influences deep into America’s politics and culture. And now: education.

In Davos, he announced the infusion of $1 billion into a new Open Society University Network to fund schools around the world — to “educate against nationalism,” is how the Financial Times reported it.

In other words: to train the next generation in the evils of sovereignty — to teach the emerging youth how to become good obedient citizens of the world.

Soros calls it his “most important and enduring project” ever. No wonder. It truly could be. If successful, it could mean the collapse of borders, the implementation of world government, the end of America as we know it.

If children are the hope of the future, America’s children must be educated on the greatness of America — before it becomes too late and America, as a sovereign nation, hasn’t any future at all.

Normally, the notes taken by the translator are archived. Trump confiscated the notes before they could be recorded.

I'm wondering if the secret meeting between Trump and Putin had to do with the financial transactions involving Deutsche Bank. It has been mentioned in a number of sources that the Russian mafia, which has its links with Putin, laundered money through that bank, and that the dummy corporations that enabled it to be done went through the Trump Organization.

What is also interesting is that Trump never allowed Deutsche Bank to release his financial records. If Trump is innocent of money laundering, why didn't he release those records and clear his name?

Is there a direct financial link between Putin and Trump in those records? It is all very interesting.

Why was it, when Trump had his talks with Putin, that he had the notes of the translator seized? Why were those notes hidden away from the public? Were those notes destroyed contrary to law?

What did Trump and Putin speak of? What are the financial connections between Trump and the Russians? Trump has had five bankruptcies. At a certain point, how did Trump get his money again, after the bankruptcies?
I wonder when that was. Maybe Trump was giving Putin advice on how to delay holding the referendum on changing of the Russian constitution so Putin could stay in office.

March 25, 2020 Virus delays Russia vote on Putin staying in power

Russian President Vladimir Putin has postponed a vote on constitutional change that would allow him to stay in power, because of coronavirus concerns.

He said the public vote - previously due to be held on 22 April - would be delayed until a "later date".

The proposed changes include scrapping a ban on allowing Mr Putin to run for office again.

The changes have already been approved by parliament and Russia's constitutional court.

They would give Mr Putin - who is serving his fourth presidential term and has dominated Russian politics for two decades - the right to serve two more consecutive terms.

Or maybe it was the other way around. Maybe Putin was giving Trump advice on elections. Could be that Putin was telling Trump how to use arrests to intimidate the opposition and how to bar opposition candidates from running.

September 2019 1,400 arrested at opposition election protest in Moscow

State news agencies Tass and RIA-Novosti cited police as saying on Saturday 1,074 people had been arrested.

The rally comes a week after the capital's biggest demonstration in years, when some 22,000 people protested the decision to block opposition candidates from standing for the city council in September.

Authorities say the local election candidates were prohibited from running because they had failed to collect a sufficient number of genuine signatures in their support, an allegation the opposition rejects as false.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin called the unauthorised protest a "security threat", adding that "order will be ensured according to the relevant laws".

The protest movement is also trying to pressure Russia’s tightly controlled political system at a time when President Vladimir Putin’s rating has dropped due to an unpopular pensions reform and five straight years of falling real incomes.

Trump admires authoritarianism. Given his authoritarian personality, he will always admire Putin, and his secret police that seeks to ever-domineer over people. I wonder about the allegations about Deutsche Bank that mention further connections within Russia itself.

Another allegation exists that maintains that Putin transferred a lot of Russian wealth abroad, putting it into front organizations and bank accounts. I wonder if there's a connection between these bank accounts and organizations with the Trump Organization.

Trump has a clear incentive to postpone the elections to escape further investigations.

If he was innocent, why doesn't he disclose his financial records and come clean on the matter?

Yes, it seems that if he was innocent, he'd want to shoot down these suspicions in the most direct way.

But then he's repeatedly struggled against giving a DNA sample that would easily clear him of sexual assault.

If he was innocent, that is. There are character disorders in which the patient has a pathological fear of revealing anything about themselves, so absent a psychiatric evaluation, we can't necessarily assume it's because he's guilty.

But that would be the most parsimonious explanation.

It deals, Prayer Warrior, with a possible motive why Trump may want to postpone elections. Trump may want to try to escape further litigation and investigation by remaining President. He also has the incentive of seeking to escape extradition to other countries that may have probable cause that he's committed financial crimes. This discussion is well within the OP.

We are not bashing Trump. We're not calling him a criminal. We're asking legitimate questions about him and why he cannot or will not clear his name.

My guess he has reasons for continuing secrecy. Why has he crippled the FEC by refusing to appoint people to it? There aren't enough people now on its board to do business. The FEC can collect data and receive complaints but can't take action. It looks corrupt to me.

Watchdog group files complaint against Trump campaign over lack of transparency in spending - CNNPolitics

A nonpartisan campaign finance watchdog group has filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission accusing President Donald Trump's campaign of "laundering" tens of millions of dollars in donations through several companies, some connected to former campaign manager Brad Parscale.

The Campaign Legal Center in a complaint alleges that the Trump campaign and an authorized joint financing committee broke the law by sending close to $170 million to firms without disclosing their specific expenditures to the public.
It looks as if campaign funds are being channeled to Trump relatives.

"[American Made Media Consultants] is a campaign vendor responsible for arranging and executing media buys and related services at fair market value. [American Made Media Consultants] does not earn any commissions or fees," said campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh. "It builds efficiencies and saves the campaign money by providing these in-house services that otherwise would be done by outside vendors. The campaign reports all payments to [American Made Media Consultants] as required by the FEC. The campaign complies with all campaign finance laws and FEC regulations."

Parscale himself is listed several times in the complaint. The complaint also points to media reports from CNN and others that Parscale Strategy, which is retained for $48,000 per month for "strategy consulting," pays salaries to several Trump family members and close confidants, including the President's daughter-in-law Lara Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr.

But the complaint is primarily focused on the campaign itself and the joint fundraising committees. Parscale's companies are not specifically accused of illegal behavior, though the inclusion of those details is likely meant to evoke concerns about self-dealing within Trump's broader campaign operation.

I notice that Mary Trump, in the study of her family, Too Much and Never Enough, was hesitant about attaching psychiatric diagnostic labels to Donald Trump. From what I've read from her book so far, the President seems to have a number of overlapping psychological disorders in which the relationship between them isn't entirely clear. Mary Trump affirms that we may never know unless Donald Trump consents to psychological testing, which is very doubtful.

I'm skeptical, myself of the validity of these tests, but it could be affirmed that Trump is not emotionally well-adjusted. Mary Trump clearly shows Trump lacks empathy and conscience. I can see why Trump, ever able to fornicate, wasn't able to establish intimate personal relationships with women and normal relationships with business colleagues.

Couldn't we say that Trump always projects an appearance? And that who he is, at bottom, is a hollow man behind those appearances, a great nothingness within, a man condemned by God?

Perhaps. Yehren, you could be right. Perhaps Trump has a pathological fear of disclosure. Perhaps he doesn't want to reveal the emptiness that's within him. Perhaps that's why Trump, also, always destroys whatever he touches.

In Mary Trump's book, Too Much and Never Enough, she alleges that her uncle, Donald Trump and her grandfather, Fred Trump Sr. channeled a lot of wealth into the hands of relatives to hide it and to escape taxation. Supposedly, Mary Trump's uncle and grandfather grifted her when her father, Fred Trump Jr. died. Allegedly, they had undervalued her inheritance when they had put it into trust funds and parcelled it out into a variety of financial holdings, usually in the name of other relatives, escaping taxation. And when the time of the inheritance was to be paid, she didn't get what was due to her.

I suspect that Trump's business transactions have been questionable for years, and so he would have a great incentive for him to postpone elections as an avenue of escape from litigation and future investigations.

What can I say?

A day after Trump floated delaying the presidential election, which he cannot do, the White House condemned Hong Kong for delaying its election

One day after President Donald Trump suggested delaying the November US presidential election, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said during a press conference that the White House condemned Hong Kong's decision to postpone its legislative council elections for one year.

"We condemn the Hong Kong government's decision to postpone for one year its legislative council elections and to disqualify opposition candidates," McEnany said Friday after a reporter asked whether Trump supported the move to delay the elections.

"This action undermines the democratic processes and freedoms that have underpinned Hong Kong's prosperity," she said, according to a transcript of the press conference produced by the White House.

Given Trump's declining mental state, and his poor impulse control, I think it's likely that he just blurted the idea out as a possible way to avoid the coming reckoning. I don't doubt that his handlers were shocked and dismayed that he went off message.

What can they do? He's obviously getting worse and worse, and he won't do what they tell him. Look for more bizarre behavior in the remaining months before November.

Come join you and do what???????????????? What are you doing to stop the murder of the unborn? I haven't seen you take a stand against it even once.

Some people talk about it. Some people do something:

There are numerous ways to take an active stance against abortion. Too many people are personally against abortion, but don’t do anything to try to help stop it. It is important for every single person to do their part, because each individual can make a difference and save a child’s life. The stakes are far too great to just stand by and not do anything; children’s lives are depending on your help!
Politics - Life Dynamics

Here's a few non-political things you can do:
So think about it. Are you just talk or would you do some of these things?

Sometimes, it just takes a non-aggressive approach:

"I get why you have your position, but if you'd like, I'll be happy to explain why I'm pro-life, without attacking you personally."

It does work. You don't have to "convert" someone on the spot; often you just need to plant a seed. But if you're not good at it, there are other things you can do.

And no, I don't agree with everything this site advocates, but you don't get to have perfect agreement on everything. You merely need to move forward and try to save some lives. You willing to do more than just talk?

Trump realizes that the people of Hong Kong deserve the right to have elections according to law, so that they have a say in their government. The rights of the people of Hong Kong matter to him. It's different, he thinks, in America.

Republicans also aren't going to give Trump things he want included in the next stimulus package. They can already be accused of wasteful spending, and Trump wants more wasteful spending at a time of record debt and deficits. He wants $377 million to remodel the West Wing of the White House. What's that have to do with coronavirus? He also wants (make sure you're sitting down when you read this) $1.75 billion to build a new FBI building -- across the street from the Trump Hotel.

There's a good reason for this. A corporation is planning to build a hotel on that site, right across from his hotel. The competition would cost him money. And as king of the United States, he gets to insert stuff like that into other bills.

We will see how that goes if a scandal occurs due to democrat malfeasance.

Interestingly, in many of the swing states where it will matter, republicans officials run the elections. So that won't fly. And in most states where democrats run the elections, the states are so overwhelmingly democrat that fraud wouldn't make any sense, even for republicans to do it.
