Methinks Romans 14 makes no mention of the temple of God. If you don't want to answer my question that's OK. I have pressed you because you have pressed people with comments which give me the impression that you believe getting a tatoo might be a good thing to do. If you are doubtful about the temple of God, wouldn't it be a good thing to back away from this subject rather than encouraging people to do something that might offend God?
Do you really suppose that Jesus would be as favorable toward getting tatoos as you are? No need to answer...
Here are some good principles from Romans 14:
"Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks."
We are all likely to have views about all sorts of things that are different from those of other who love the same Lord; and this is only to be expected, as long as there is no real moral or doctrinal problem with them.
