The slippery slope is human, or if you will, sinful nature. It will happen, give it time. Sadly, it's a proven fact that the slope exists....witness God's people justifying something he has forbidden....in all sorts of areas...abortion is just one. When God's people, called to be holy and apart from the world, justify things such as this, we are already half way down the slope. I'm sorry, but I cannot see it any other way.

I have lived in two states that have legalized euthenasia. over the past 15 years, supporters of the law have been amazed at how many terminally ill patients have aquired a prescrption to end their lives and then chosen not to go through with it. Hardly anyone actually decides to terminate their lives early. As far as abortion goes, it should be a legal option for desperate people to wrestle with. I not justifying it, only suggesting that it should remain decriminalized. Finally, i think the slippery slope is a myth.

Worldly, secular governments are the ones making the laws and these types of laws are not going to go away, they will only become looser, same with same sex marriage and whatever other kind of marriage they can think of.
