Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

PS: It's probably a bit different between men and women also, at least, sometimes.
In terms of what's widespread and more or less conventional, while for men it was always an option to get ink, for women it's become more of an option to do it in recent decades.
So at around 40 or 50 it's not unusual for some women to start getting ink, whereas years ago they might not have contemplated it.
(If you see the perspective...?)
PS: And as far as influencing is concerned, a lot of Christian young people now use faith based ink as a witness opportunity, e.g., Bible ref. or phrase or Christian fish sign <><, etc.
...we don't talk much about tattoos but if I do get one it is going to look like this....

@Heart2Soul So do you think if years ago it had been more widespread for women to get tattooed, it would have been more likely that years ago you would have had it done?

Honestly, I don't have an opinion on it. IF people want to get a tattoo, it's entirely their own choice on when and what. I have no place to judge on it. I think as Christians under Christ we have to recognize that people have that freedom and it's up to their own conscience...up to their own 'conversation with God' if you want.
I guess when the time came for your daughters to contemplate having it done, women were already doing it rather widely, so in a sense it was kind of natural for them.
Did I tell you that my wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area - it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also; and for it, it must have seemed well worth getting used to the inside of a tattoo parlor and putting up with some pain also.
@Heart2Soul Anyway, seems for so many ppl now it feels a good way to express oneself; and many Christians use it for Christian expression.
Yeah so I have heard...and many have become tattoo junkies needing a fix. Lol.
LOL, although I strongly doubt that you would become a junkie if you did it; you'd probably do it deliberately with careful thought.
I expect you were pleased for their sakes that they were each prepared to take the initiative to get it done.
(Often it's a wished for goal of the younger age group.)
Not sure what you mean here...one daughter has a rose, a sun, and I think a dragon,
The other one has a rose and a dolphin.
I guess I should have put, Must have been good to look at; for both of them must have felt good to do.
(And I guess their Mom would have agreed.)
