1.) Sanctification, is "completed righteousness", ....is already accomplished by us being "in Christ".
This is the effect of the Blood Atonement. Its the eternal effect of "The Gift of Righteousness".

So, where Christians, most, are totally theologically lost, regarding the basic understanding of their Salvation, is that.....there is a BORN AGAIN PART of us, the "new Creation", the "new man", "the circumcised from the flesh born again Spirit"....= and this is what GOD evaluates and not our old man, or our carnal nature.

When we read that we are "as Christ IS, so are the BORN AGAIN.in this WORLD"...This is a LITERAL TRUTH. Its not symbolic.
And when we read that "we are seated in Heavenly places, IN CHRIST".... This is a literal truth. Its not symbolic.
Both of these are speaking of our BORN AGAIN SELF. This is the real us. THis is the "new Creation" US.... that is " ONE" with God and restored back in to the 1st Adam relationship with God, via the 2nd Adam shedding His blood and dying for us.

What the Devil does, is use really bad teachers and really ungodly teaching to convince most Christians that their real selves is the "sinning repenting, failure". To be continued. = This is the devil's lie.
Most Christians see themselves, not as burn again into God's Spirit, but as the person who has a mind full of carnal ideas, and a self righteous personal identity.
So, until a person who is born again, sees themselves as GOD sees them....they will continue to evaluate themselves as a "saved sinner" and this wrong believing will keep them in bondage to their carnal flesh, their carnal mind, and their pride.

    2. ) Jesus is our Sanctification. 1 Corinthians 1:30. """But of God you (the born again) are IN Christ Jesus, = who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—"

So, once again, we see that every part of our redemption is totally based on who we are become IN CHRIST.....as once again, this is the "God perspective"< that most Christians have not been taught to realize as THEMSELVES....their real selves, their "new Creation" born again spiritual Identity.
Christians are literally , right now, Spiritual citizens of Heaven who are stuck in a dying body on earth, waiting for Jesus to come and get them, if they don't die first and meet Him that way, first.

    Beyond those 2..
WE as disciples must submit to God's evaluation of who we are "in Christ" and from THAT mental place of Faith, we find Grace as our mental home, (mind of Christ) which brings us to the place in our walk with God that leads to more and more perfection = perfected discipleship = "walking in the Spirit".

Rom 7:18, For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

And if you'll continue to read what Paul says, and not stop there, you'll find that he is going to explain that he DOES find how to live a holy walk.
Most readers do what you did. They read a commentary that does not finish the chapter, so, they end up with really bad theology as a lifestyle.

And, since the fact that indwelling sin can be rendered dead means that I do not have to commit iniquity but can wallk in freedom and victory, there is no "bad lifestyle" that results from my theology.

The point of your previous "wet" was that, the end result was all about keeping the law.
So, thats an issue, as Salvation is not given so that we can return to the Old Testament and worry about commandments and Law.

    See Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:4, Romans 8:7, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Romans 13:8-10, Galatians 5:14, Romans 5:5.

(The law is written on the heart and in the mind of the New Covenant believer).

Then jump over to Isaiah 8:20.

Isa 8:20, To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

    The law is important.

God has given it as a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ (Galatians 3:24, Romans 3:20, Psalms 19:7 (kjv)).

Psa 19:7, The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

    Reader,

God does not give you or require from you, anything that is related to the "law" or "commandment keeping" to accept you.

Salvation, Eternal Life, is God Himself on a Cross, taking your sin, dying in Judgment for your sin, and offering His Righteousness as "The gift of Salvation".
If you think you will enter Heaven, by law keeping, or Torah keeping, or commandment keeping, and you do not possess the "gift of Righteousness" that is the Blood Atonement you will go to hell like a bullet after you die.

Jesus said...."you must be BORN AGAIN".

Resolve this on Earth and meet God as your Father.
Otherwise, you will meet Him as your Judge.

    John 3:36

This is what it means to be born again:

2Co 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1Jo 3:5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jo 3:6, Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jo 3:7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jo 3:8, He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jo 3:9, Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

    Consider also this:

1Jo 3:4, Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

I removed the verses you were using that try to confuse a believer about what it means to be born again.
There is no reason they should be as confused as you are about it.
See, you always add the LAW to the CROSS because you are a Legalist.
    Dont do that.

If you are sinning and repenting, then you are not delivered.
If you were delivered you would not STILL be sinning.

No you didn't. They are still right there in my post.

Most often, those who preach on obedience are decried as legalists by the unredeemed. It is par for the course.

And I bring the law to bear on any subject because I am a true evangelist...and therefore I exalt the law to make it honourable as a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ.

Also, Its fine to preach on obedience.
The issue isn't preaching on it, or teaching about it... the issue is when a person tries to substitute obedience for the Blood Atonement.
In other words, to teach that unless you are obedient you are not saved, or unless you are obedient you will lose your salvation.
If you teach that, then you are heretic, who has substituted the Grace of God, for legalism.....= the gospel of works to stay staved.

No, I do not teach that.

I teach that if you are abiding in Jesus Christ, through faith in Him, then you will "sin not" (1 John 3:6).

I teach that obedience is the sure result of being saved; and that therefore if you are not being obedient to the Lord in some area, you ought to check yourself before you wreck yourself (2 Corinthians 13:5, Hebrews 3:12-13).

Sanctification is a life long process which happen after conversion until we go to meet Christ.

The blood of Jesus sanctifies us when it is applied (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29, 1 John 1:7). This sanctification translates into obedience in the life of the believer.

Sons of God incarnated in bodies of flesh.

This is so false. Obedience to God is not an option. Obedience is not a gospel of works. A gospel of works is about having to become a Jew and do the law of Moses.

To make this about an optional obedience to God is the biggest lie out there...and a lot of people fall for it...because they don't love the truth.

The purpose of grace is obedience to God's will. God will reject all who are not obedient to Him.

Of course we are saved through obedience...the obedience of faith. The obedience of faithfulness. The obedience of love and of humility. The obedience of carrying our own cross and then the obedience of a full surrender into bearing His cross and also His life.

He was RAISED for our justification. The faith of Christ is a faith about life not death atonement.

The blood atonement is not just for believers but for the whole world. This idea that faith must be placed in the atonement for salvation is heresy of the most laughable kind. If you don't believe that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world...does that mean He didn't?

    Ridiculous.

There are onion layers of errors by this poster that would basically take all day to untangle.

I wish that they who were so confused and in error would stop thinking they were in any position to teach. The gospel of works doesn't exist..only in the mind of religious avoiders of truth. If the gospel is real then it produces the power to fulfill the law of Christ..at the same level that Jesus did. And this is because grace is the power of the resurrected Jesus...a walk so powerful that it actually works. And this real walk in the Spirit is called the gospel of works by heretics who don't want any real challenge to the kingdom of satan.

God is looking for the obedience of the gospel in they who believe Him. He is looking for us to walk in the life of His Son and do the works prepared in advance to the glory of the Father.
