Col 1 By Jesus all things were created. Jesus is God.
I have to question, what kind of Bible are you reading ?
Col 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,
Col 1:2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Col 1:3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Col 1:4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

When Jesus said that of himself,no one can genuinely prove otherwise or they will be calling Jesus deluded.

What the naysayers don't realize when they deny Salvation is eternal, and Jesus,as he said, was the Father is, when they claim to be saved by their false doctrine, i.e. a man died so they could work to achieve the salvation his sacrifice made available is, they believe in human sacrifice. And redemption through work.

That's carnal. That's worship of flesh.

Joh 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world: but that the world may be saved by him.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Those that push the idea that Jesus is his Father are in fact preaching another gospel that is different from what the original apostles taught. This is because we are into the last days already. The son of perdition ( antichrist ) is going to present himself as God and to achieve this he has to convince everyone that Jesus is his Father.

Now you have all been warned that this is happening, I have done my job , Your blood will not be required from my hands.

Lets take a closer look at this passage.

Col 1:12 Giving thanks to God the Father, who hath made us worthy to be partakers of the lot of the saints in light:
Here we give thanks to God the Father, Why, Because he sent his Son Jesus to redeem us back to Himself.
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,
So what has happened here, we have been bought back from this world and been given citizenship in the kingdom of Jesus whom God loves. .
Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the remission of sins:
This explains the legalities of how it works. Our sins are forgiven because Jesus paid the price for those sins with his own blood.
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
This explains who Jesus is. An image is what you see in the mirror. It has the likeness of the original. We also see that Jesus came about before any other creatures, He was the first of creation before he was begotten as the son of man.God the Father was already around before Jesus was.
Col 1:16 For in him were all things created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominations, or principalities, or powers. All things were created by him and in him.
Now this explains what Jesus did, we are looking at political controls, It is bringing governing order to God the Fathers creation
Col 1:17 And he is before all: and by him all things consist.
We are still looking at governing controls here, Jesus was around before any of it existed but it is because of him that it now consists, That is why he is also called the King of the Kings and the Lord of the Lords.
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he may hold the primacy:
This now explains Jesus and his relationship to the Church, He occupies the position of the head that controls the rest of the body made up of the redeemed saints. He is the first to be resurrected from the dead which makes him the first in all else related to the church.
Col 1:19 Because in him, it hath well pleased the Father that all fulness should dwell:
Because it is pleasing to God the Father that Jesus his only beggon son should be the one over all.
Col 1:20 And through him to reconcile all things unto himself, making peace through the blood of his cross, both as to the things that are on earth and the things that are in heaven.
This is still from the Fathers perspective, he is reconciling all things to himself through the sacrifice of his Son, The blood being the currency used and this one time event is for all things on earth and all things in the heavens as well.

Now all this has been explained to you in small baby steps, you have been told, my hands are clear.

Speak of your own penalty. Not those who know Jesus must be the Father in order to bring a new Covenant in Him.

Autotheism,or Auto deism,as it is also known, does not save .

Sorry, but your witness, which isn't your own but by those you heed, is false.
Funny, but you don’t seem to realize that you too are a product of “those you heed”….where does your interpretation of the scriptures come from…? and how can you be certain that the great deceiver, who has entangled “many” in his web of counterfeit Christianity, is not also deceiving you with his ancient lies?

Do you really think that is not possible? Why then are “few” found on the road to life? And why are the “many” offering vain excuses to the judge when he rejects them on judgment day? (Matt 7:13-14; 21-23)
Jesus Christ has always, eternally, existed with The Father, like He said, He and The Father are ONE.
John 17:11, 22…
”And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. . . . .The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one“. (ESV)

Are the disciples also part of your godhead? Or is this a ‘oneness‘ of unity and purpose? And in whose name are they being kept? Why did Jesus have to give God’s name to them? Because the Jews had ceased uttering it and it was lost.

John 17:26….
“I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” (ESV)
What is the name of the Father?…..Yahweh/Jehovah…..not Jesus.
SDA and Jehovah Witness have a false teaching that Jesus only existed and was created for His birth through Mary to die on the cross. That is how far out your false witness sounds.
It is ignorant statements like this that expose your blind prejudice….what you stated there is a “false witness” based on hearsay (gossip) not fact…..when you would like to get your facts straight…and actually know the truth about us, instead of promoting other people’s lies…..you just let me know. OK?

“Those who know Jesus must be the Father”??? Wait…what? Jesus is his own Father??? Seriously? :doldrums:

How many “Christians” actually believe that? Most see the Father and the son as separate parts of one God, with an equal third party added later…..yet that is not what you believe, apparently….should you take that up with your fellow trinitarians and work out the truth among your divided selves? God’s spirit unifies his worshippers, it does not divide them….so who is it that is teaching you guys so many different things?

In order to “bring in a new covenant”, all God needed was a mediator…..the one who was foretold..…”a prophet like Moses”, whom the apostles identified as Jesus….the son of “the only true God” who was “sent“ on a mission, which he fulfilled perfectly. (Acts 3:22; John 5:46)
Moses was the mediator of the old covenant….was he God incarnate? Or was he also “sent” by Jehovah?

The ignorance demonstrated by the majority here sometimes leaves me shaking my head….you can’t even agree amongst yourselves, nor can you agree about the application or interpretation of scripture….so how is it that you presume to correct us?

Strange, isn’t it that when scripture is actually explained, verse by verse, and in context, instead of cherry picked verses in isolation, (completely misinterpreted), that the plain truth was there all along, not corrupted by those who are taught by the “weeds” of a disunited Christendom….which is not to be confused with the true Christianity taught by Jesus and his apostles….

Well please give us the chapter and verse, just don't quote what the Father said about himself, only what Jesus said. As far as I can tell Jesus will only be judging between the redeemed.
Sure….

John 5:22
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Sure….

John 5:22
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
During the time of the gentiles or church age and only in accordance with the will of the Father which is all explained further down in the chapter. This is the reason why the redeemed are not to be a part of the final judgment because they would have been judged in Christ already.

The final judgement is here; It is conducted by the Father.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

Is this mighty man Jesus?

Brethren in Christ, don't listen to the lackeys who try to claim that Jesus never claimed to be God. That's a lie, and most likely a lie from those who refuse to believe that Jesus of Nazareth is God having come in the flesh, which is the definition of one of His Titles, that of "Emmanuel" (God with us), per Matthew 1:23.

Towards the end of John 8 is one place where Jesus emphatically claimed to be GOD to the blind Pharisees...

John 8:56-59
56
"Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day: and he saw it, and was glad."

By that, Lord Jesus was claiming that He existed back in the days of Abraham, and even that Abraham foresaw the time of Christ's 1st coming, and was glad.

57 Then said the Jews unto Him, "Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast Thou seen Abraham?"

Then the Jews looked at Him, and mocked that Jesus was not yet even 50 years old, and had He really seen Abraham?

58 Jesus said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."
59 Then took they up stones to cast at Him: but Jesus hid Himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
KJV

The "I AM" is one of God's sacred names. When God sent Moses to speak to the children of Israel, Moses asked Him by what name should he say sent him? God said to Moses...

Ex 3:14
14 And God said unto Moses,
"I AM THAT I AM": and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."
KJV

Those Pharisees tempting Jesus were not blind to that, "I AM" phrase at all! They knew Jesus saying that He is The I AM was His saying that He is GOD. That is why they picked up stones to try and stone Jesus.
Pieces from statements that are scattered all over the Bible. That's all you guys got.

Isaiah 45:21-22
“Declare and set forth your case;
Indeed, let them consult together.
Who has announced this from of old?
Who has long since declared it?
Is it not I, the Lord?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A righteous God and a Savior;
There is none except Me.
“Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth;
For I am God, and there is no other.

The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

Is this mighty man Jesus?
I see that you have done it again….quoted a verse out of context and given it the wrong interpretation….

First of all….how does this chapter of Isaiah begin?
Fom the Jewish Tanakh…..Isaiah 42:1….
”Behold My servant, I will support him, My chosen one, whom My soul desires; I have placed My spirit upon him, he shall promulgate justice to the nations.”
Who is Jehovah’s “servant”? Certainly not himself.

This chapter is about the servant of Jehovah who was to come…it is prophetic.
Through the prophet Isaiah, Jehovah inspired a series of prophecies directly related to his Son. These prophecies help us to “look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith,” Christ Jesus. They shed light on his personality, his sufferings, and his exaltation as our King and Redeemer.

Verse 13 speaks about Jehovah going out “like a hero; like a warrior”…..

13 The Lord shall go out like a hero; like a warrior shall He arouse zeal; He shall shout, He shall even cry, He shall overpower His foes.
Jewish Tanakh

Look and see that in the Hebrew text….. it is The Lord” “יְהֹוָה֙” (Jehovah) who is the hero and the warrior who overpowers his enemies….how does he do that? Through this son, his angelic forces, and through his spirit.

The Christian Scriptures leave us in no doubt as to the identity of the “Servant of Jehovah” described in Isaiah chapter 42 and others. Interestingly, the Ethiopian official mentioned in the book of Acts was reading one of these prophecies (in Isa 53:7-8) when Philip the evangelizer was directed by the spirit to approach him. The official, having read the Bible passage, asked Philip: “I beg you, About whom does the prophet say this? About himself or about some other man?”
Philip lost no time in explaining that Isaiah spoke about the Messiah, Jesus.“ (Acts 8:26-35)

You guys run away with false ideas implanted long ago by a church system that is completely corrupt….and has been since it’s inception in the 4th century. Jesus and his apostles never mentioned the God you claim to worship.…not even once.
(1 Cor 8:5-6) They knew who Jesus was and they knew the God that he served, because he taught them what his Father had taught him. (John 7:16)

They all insist that Jesus is God! Even the JW bible.
The reason Emmanuel was God,Jesus born to die so to redeem his Elect,is because a man could not die and do this.

He had to be perfect and without sin in order to take the sins of the Elect upon himself and die and become the propitiation for sins.

Only God is perfect. Only God could come in the full form of human, since he created us from himself in his image and likeness, and accomplish that.

That's just really a stupid... statement above, just like a BLIND PHARISEE JEW would say like those Jesus was rebuking in John 8, and told them that He is The I AM...

John 8:56-59
56 "
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day: and he saw it, and was glad."

57 Then said the Jews unto Him, "Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast Thou seen Abraham?"

The reason Emmanuel was God,Jesus born to die so to redeem his Elect,is because a man could not die and do this.
Exactly....no sin laden human could give his life for the one that Adam threw away by his disobedience. All of Adam’s descendants were now sinners.
It required a sinless mortal human to be born into the correct line of descent, at the correct location, and at the right time, according to the prophesy that the Jews consulted in Daniel so as to know when Messiah was due to arrive......Jesus fulfilled all of those prophesies in his birth.....but an immortal God cannot die for the sins of a mortal man. The one offering the sacrifice had to be a sinless, 100% mortal human in order to be “the last Adam”......
1 Cor 15:45...
“So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

“Atonement” is “at-one-meant”...one for one....equivalent....to satisfy God law....”an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life”.....a sinless life had to be offered for a sinless life, to cancel the debt.....God did not need to come to earth as a human because in order to redeem mankind....he sent his “servant” to fulfill that role which he did willingly.
Can God be his own servant?
Acts 4:27....
“For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel”.

The word “servant” there in Greek is “pais”...and it means.....
  1. a child, boy or girl
    1. infants, children
  2. servant, slave
    1. an attendant, servant, spec. a king's attendant, minister” (Strongs)
In Matt 12:18 Isaiah is quoted with reference to Jesus.....

“BEHOLD, MY SERVANT [“pais”] WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN;
MY BELOVED IN WHOM MY SOUL is WELL-PLEASED;
I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT UPON HIM,
AND HE SHALL PROCLAIM JUSTICE TO THE GENTILES.”
(NASB)

Jesus is God’s “holy servant”.....though he is not identified as a “bond servant” (“doulos”) which signifies a slave in servitude to a Master....Jesus was not that kind of servant. Jehovah was his God and Father whom he willingly served, not his “Master”.
He had to be perfect and without sin in order to take the sins of the Elect upon himself and die and become the propitiation for sins.
Yes, which is why God transferred the life force of his firstborn son into the womb of a Jewish virgin in order for him to be born as a mortal human and give his life for ours.......it was to fulfill prophesy, and in keeping with the demands of God’s unchangeable law.
Only God is perfect. Only God could come in the full form of human, since he created us from himself in his image and likeness, and accomplish that.
Not true...and no scripture says so.....Adam was created “in God’s image” because God wanted all mankind to reflect his qualities and love for creation in their assigned role here on earth......it was the apostate “church” who said Jesus was ‘God incarnate’ and thus the false idea about Christ’s true identity was born, and forced into ambiguous scripture by the “weeds” of Jesus parable who surfaced not long after the death of the apostles......this is an ancient lie perpetuated by a corrupt church down to this day.

Jesus was “sent” by his God and Father (John 17:3)......God did not send himself for a role he could not personally perform.....first of all....an immortal cannot die.....and an immortal being sacrificed for the atonement of a mere mortal is not equivalency.

All I ask is that you read the scriptures and see that the Bible does not support this doctrine that most of Christendom has been taught is a foundational doctrine......the foundation is faulty, so when the storm comes (and it is coming) the whole building will collapse....all who remain in it will go down with it. (Rev 18:4-5)
